The situation is that I do have a few cars, but I value the Charmant and Mira far too much to take them to the office in dodgy Castleford, the Cuore is to be sold, the 323 Wagon isn't quite ready yet and the current daily Galant has an MOT creeping up on it for which it will require a reasonable amount of work. Willing to get the work done, but it could do with a bit of a holiday on SORN as I'd like to renew some of the suspension/steering parts anyway. So it sort of makes sense to have a freshly-MOTed 626 take over my driving to work/illegal minicabbing duties in the meantime. It absolutely slaughters the Galant in terms of spec - 2.0 engine, 5-speed box, cassette deck, full electric windows and best of all - blue velour seats. All the rust fixing work has been done and it drives nice, just needs an MOT and it'll be ready to roll.
Blue velours - you've convinced me!
Is it white? Looks more like two-tone silver/grey to me, shonky photos and £14.99 set of wheeltrims do it no favours
Nothing says 'classy' like a white stretch Rover limo... Except maybe one of those stretch Hummers with the swimming pool in the back.

TURNS HEADS N STOMACHS. IDEAL IF U HAVE LEARNING DIFFICULTIES
NICE BUMPER ASSHOLE, MAKE IT YOURSELF? NO MY UNCLE MADE IT
This one's pretty nice:
Black one is lovely but not original. The kit it has is from the later facelifted ones, late 'D' reg onwards.Mind you the 1,8 engine and the gearbox they came with are funking fantastic.
I quite like the red SRi....or is it that SRy??
EADLAMP WASHAR LUV
The black one is delicious. I'd take it out for the evening, get it drunk and try to cop a feel of it's fanny on the way home.
On RR at the mo' - gert cheap!
....or on AutoTrader - twice the price but cheaper to run - and it's manual.
Needs stick-on bits removing from the bumpers tho'.
Both look really sound.

Bet this makes a great wedding car, the happy couple no doubt appreciating the rackety, underpowered 4-cyl diesel engine and tight turning circle

Take a look at the rear light units. No reverse lamp section, as it was in the numberplate surround. Carried over to the Frog Face from 1995. Lamp profile virtually identical to Sierra estates, and would probably go in no problem, and look great!
Not sure if this has been shown yet but these 205s were lovely machines to drive, the GR as well being a nice compromise between power and economy. 15,000 miles!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/peugeot-205-1-4-g ... .m14.l1318

Shame the dickhead wielding the camera couldn't manage one decent photo.

Did I say that diseasel Corsa would be a miserable driving experience?
I hadn't seen this 1.3 automatic Corolla then... The irony of calling this model the 'sprinter' must have been lost on the Japs.

[boring story approaching]
Funnily enough a hippy couple (in a BIG detached house mind) on my paper round had an early 3 door in this colour - it spurred me on and in 1991 I purchased the similary reg'd KPD52W in black but with GTI stripes and single lamp grill + 1047 POWERHOUSE
It even had 5 1/2" steels - I waz da man down 'Sarfend - until I got raced
Even though I learn't to drive in it, amazingly it lasted till 98 - the Solex had allready tried to do firestarter when I had it...
