From my local LHD specialist that charges well over the odds for everything...

Fantastic engine though - better than the 2.5's and 2.7's. This is the same powerplant as my Carnival (Sedona), and other than forcing me to the new front tyre shop every 10k km (that's every month for that work-horse), it's a beaut. I think they had this motor in the UK spec Sorento's, so parts may not be too much of an issue. Surely not worth that price though, but I would have to pay over £50k for one of these here in China - it's imported from Korea and subject to the 120% tax. Ouch.

A competent person would run screaming in the opposite direction....there should be a seperate sections on ebay labelled someting like "complete moneypits" "hopeless causes", or "not to be touched by 40ft bargepole"

It was slightly tanned by a fire, you can see the effects on a couple of lenses
