They should get an email they reply to, that will validate the email address. Always check spam box

Something a little odd with the uploader on just one of my machines. Normally you have the "browse" button, a "clear selection" button and and "attach this file" button.

 

For some reason, while trying to start a new thread, I get this:

 

 

And when you browse to an image file, it shows the path, but then I can't upload it.

 

But only on a new thread. When replying to a thread (like this) it works as expected.

Most (if not all) of those were created by our resident graphic design high priestess Conelrad.

You could try creating your own. If you're not proficient with modern tech like CorelDraw 3 or whatever I have some crayons you can borrow. No brown though.

How the bloody hell do you quote, and get the original photo in without having to screen shot it and drag it back in manually?

I think it's a feature of the board software that if there's an [ img ] tag inside a quote, it doesn't show the picture. That's to stop endless repeated pictures which always frustrates people.

 

If you want the picture to show, you can just copy the image tag in the editor and post it outside the quote?

 

I'll double check when I'm on my PC

The board was on a go-slow this morning, a mysql restart seems to have resolved it.

When surfing autoshite on my phone, for instance I open the 'ask a shiter' thread, also other threads it takes me back to 2017, so I have to scroll through about a hundred pages to catch back up to where I was.

 

It's as annoying as a really annoying thing.

When that happens to me I look for the page number in the URL and alter it, but fiddly but far quicker.
