A mega spot this morning in the shape of a red H reg Lada Samara 1300GL. I really need to take my camera with me when I go out. ?

This afternoon's spot, a dusky pink S reg Daihatsu Sirion.

Yesterday morning, I spotted an old boy driving a green Lancia Beta HPE into Edinburgh. I wasn't expecting that.

Utterly non-shite Rolls Royce Phantom with the reg F4TSO did make me chuckle this morning. Then to balance things out saw a delightfully shabby Series 1 P6 giving it some beans on the M25.

I recall some interesting stuff whilst on holiday in Vietnam. In Ho Chi Minh I remember spotting a 1st Gen Honda Civic at a petrol station, it was a red 2 door. I also recall spotting something quite interesting on a highway to Hanoi. At a construction site on the side of the highway, it appeared some builders had found a Peugeot 404 that was discovered in the building they were renovating.  It looked quite nice, all of it was there, it was white saloon with light brown dust all over it. Ho Chi Minh had a 1964 404 Saloon himself at one point, given to him as a present from some New Caledonians. Wish I took a photo of those two cars I spotted.

Saying that I did manage to capture some on photo whilst I was there:

- A UAZ 452 Ambulance (I believe a military one), I saw a few of these during my visit:

- A GAZ 24 (Volga), once owned by a high ranking official I imagine, now rotting away:

- As well as a VW Beetle 1303 I spotted in Hanoi:

- At the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh, I also spotted this tatty Merc with shite hubcaps. Forgot why this was here:

- Of course, no visit to Vietnam is complete without spotting a Honda Cub 50:

Re-reading this, I've sought of lost the point of this thread. Shit, oh well.

Another 'interesting' reg spot today.

Cuthbert Ulysses Mcdonald has only gone and got himself a private plate for his new Discovery with his initials on.

Yes, it's V8 CUM.....

I have seen it once before and now again, around Bridgend, I need to find who owns it and whether they'll sell it to me, it's so hideous I want it. A Mitsuoka Galue.

Not strictly 'shite' by my estimation, but as I tried to snap it and was foiled by potato phone slowness, it can go here to exorcise the ghost of failure.

Metallic blue Hillman Hunter estate in St Andrews the other day: the nice one with four headlights and lots of chrome. Forget the reg now, but it was nice...didn't look restored, more 'good used', sounded nice and left a nice trail of stink as it passed!

Didn't realise this thread existed but on Sunday I only went and saw a Yugo 45! It was that dark red colour and on a H reg - can't be too many like it now.

Can't think where else to put this, tonight's episode of special branch had a red Citroen ID19 decapitle in it.

Whist driving near Cheltenham on Sunday 19th July, a very nice gold coloured, chrome bumpered Citroen CX floated past in the other direction. So nice to see clean design amongst all the modern dumpy, chunky, bloated things.

A few miles down the road from me is a house where the vehicles indicate an owner who may well fit in on here, seems to have three matching green Saabs  (only realised there were different ones after going up an adjacent road and seeing the other two in the private lay by) The Alfa 156 that was on the drive is now up with the Saabs. Also on the drive is a TVR 3000, this was in front of the garage door for years and looks to have been off the road since 2009, it moved sideways a little while ago leaving the garage door clear. I have always wondered if there was anything in the garage, on my way home earlier the garage door was open and inside is an orange Reliant Scimitar (covered in the usual garage detritus)

Oh, and a Datsun 260C (could've been a 280C) that was a bit lowered and a bit loudered.

Driving between Quintin and st brieuc yesterday I saw a driveway with an Astra d estate, a Renault 11, Renault 25 and finally a mint green twingo. All looked knackered.

A tidy looking white Nissan Bluebird wearing chrome Rostyles was an interesting spot in Wroxham, Norfolk yesterday. Then later on a decidedly shabby blue SD1 towing a home-brewed trailer full of building sand went by in Bungay in Suffolk.

Near Lichfield yesterday I spotted a  dark blue Lotus Esprit, and then later on in almost the same place a blue Messerschmitt bubble car!

Cortina 1.6 Carousel in two-tone green. According to MOT history it's done less than sixty miles in the last ten years so I doubt I'll see it again.
