Sold Horrible car for sale - £250

Afternoon chaps,

I have lost a considerable amount of my storage so somewhat upsettingly I have to move things on.

First up...

1986D Peugeot 205GRD 1.8 n/a diesel as seen at Cholmondely this year

MOT - 17/8/17
Tax - TGYH
Mileage - 192,500ish

Colour - Antelope Beige with stylish rat look offside wing

Interior - Two tone beige and brown with "sports" blue drivers seat
 

 

To be honest I don't really want to sell this let alone anything, but needs must.

Timing belt and water pump replaced at 186k-ish (May 2014), alternator done last month, offside front wheelbearing done in August, head gasket last noted as done 11/09, rear hubs in 2008. More or less every bill detailed from 1990 until 2012, and most bills since. 4 previous owners.

It's absolutely not perfect - it looks rough as arses to be honest, but mechnically it's bob on. Lucas pump so no veg I'm afraid. Nearside front disc is warped, new front discs and pads are with the car but not fitted 'cos the workshop has been chocablock of late. Heater blower is inop but there is mega amounts of heat through the vents at speed, gets quite toasty. There is an occasional knock from underneath (exhaust I think), another occasional knock from the NSF suspension and the intermittent wiper function is sketchy at times. Rear door seals leak. All appears solid underneath, has been undersealed many times. My tame MOT tester reckons it's solid and my prodding with a screwdriver over the pit backs that up. Tyres are all present and of somewhat dubious origin, but are recent enough and have good tread.

Price advertised is £250 but any serious offer from a shiter will be considered before I throw it to the wolves on ebay.

Car is located Barrhead near Glasgow at the minute; 10 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport, 30ish seconds from Barrhead Station.
