Earnshaw Diamond TDI.

Nah, that's just a rebadged horsey horseless!

Fuel economy is over rated.

Despite all the loveliness of a straight 6 rwd chariot, I need sommat disally or at least 45+mpg for it to work out

Yeah but no but yeah but no.. The v6 TDI is a fairly fragile lump- think sticking with the 1.9 is key..

pow. Short MOT though.  This looks v similar to reginald ballwaxes one.

I love those FRV's they've got a big bench seat exactly like a 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

That's like saying I have 2 legs like Usain Bolt..

Doesnae mean I can do 100m in 9.5 secs (unless there is an e30 needing its windaes licked at the far end..)

I quite liked my A4, although I must admit the silver one in particular is not a great example of the breed. :)

I fail to see what the advantages of an A4 or a pisshat have over the ole Octy..

Nothing important really, rear legroom might be a bit better, cambelt is definitely easier, otherwise I'd go for whatever came up cheap first.

There's a white 940 diesel saloon on the Autotrader right now at a bit of a salty price but it looks marvellous.

I'm on phone so cannot link. But there's not many 940s on Autotrader!

This is cheap petrol and auto, but ideal runabout for couple of weeks.

The Skoda screams ex taxi with high miles ,and is the PD lump so no veg. But it looks fairly clean and seller appears to be able to construct a sentence..

The discerning motorist would chose between a diesel that isn't a car

A car that isn't a diesel

And another car that isn't a diesel

Have a picture of my favourite bird whilst you choose

That Octavia has made poor Mr Hughes look sad in his profile picture, poor man :(

The Saab looks perfect for the winter with its intermittent hood workage, does that mean it will fold down in the sunshine but when the rain comes you will get wet?

I'd hope the scaaab would be working until Clio is ready then hood fails in down position-could do with a skip to empty the shed oot;)

I had a SAAB 9-3 like that and thought it was pretty horrible to drive. I spent ages fixing loads of body work and the roof, drove it once, which was enough and promptly sold it.

At £325 it will blow up.

You'll probably sweat 38mpg if you push it...

Cheap zx/xant/406? Sounds like your just looking for a winter beater

What about a lovely Seat Leon Cupra for Mrs 320? I could bring it up when* I win the Vectra!! Shiters discount available. Looks respectable on hotel car park. Gans like fook.
