I haven't yet clicked on this thread because I thought it was about cars for sale in an area that's inordinately far away from a populated area.

Since for sale ads with a single photo of the car taken from a manky 2nd floor window are a bugbear of mine, I'm going to enjoy this thread after all :)

In an age where everyone has a high resolution camera in their pocket, it amazes me that so many people can't take a few images of the second most expensive thing they own when they want to sell it

Encountered on AutoTrader while looking for largish estates in the local area the other week:

Yes, this was the sole photo in the ad. I mean, I'd expect this sort of quality on free ads sites like Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace, but for an ad you've had to pay actual money to place...?

If you truly can't be arsed to walk ten feet closer, you could at least use the crop function on your phone's photo viewer.
