I'll start! I know of the escorts, astras and golfs, and my samba of course.... what else is there knocking about? Autoshite cars would really be appreciated, but any old shite would do.

Saw this in Budapest earlier this year, a coach cabrio, it could catch on with certain Scottish Shiters for the summer.

I have a picture of a convertible Corsa B somewhere, I'll look for it tomorrow.

Horrible Humber. You can buy a load of rusty bits to recreate this monster on eBay now for 10000 pounds. Though I have a penchant for early motors I wouldn't want one of these. I'm hoping this thread will dredge up a Morris 10 , 12, 14, 16, 20 or 25 drophead.

My offering is a Nova Cabriolet, I used to see quite a few of these, but it is some time since I have seen one even at shows.

And here is my winning entry!

It is a 1957 Spohn convertible. I only know about it because it is/was owned by Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars TV show.

I hope that Spohn picture is pre-resto.

That door shut line looks awful.

It seems people will chop the roof of anything!

I asked Mrs 6C if she wanted me to cut the roof off ours, but the forecast is rain!

a bed fellow of the Rover Metro cabbie, the Rover Mini Convertible

looks like a pram with the hood down, which i think makes it even cuter.

i'd love one, though the £10-12k price of one may well scupper that. shame.....

As there was a Visa convertible sold though the dealer net work I feel entitled to inflict another Visa photo on my fellow Autoshiters.

There are smart cars, then there are these smart car convertibles. Actually a proper Merc made thing too. Named the Smart Crossblade.

Spotted on Seaton seafront with both wearing German plates. Yes that is a OEM small plexiglass windshield tacked onto the front! Not quite sure the purpose of it - maybe gets around some sort of EU regulations that say you have to have a windscreen of some sort?
