cros Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Horrible Humber. You can buy a load of rusty bits to recreate this monster on eBay now for 10000 pounds. Though I have a penchant for early motors I wouldn't want one of these. I'm hoping this thread will dredge up a Morris 10 , 12, 14, 16, 20 or 25 drophead. Uncle Jimmy 1
pshome Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 The BL gas turbine engined Maxi. third front light so it can be used on railway tracks?

Six-cylinder Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 And here is my winning entry! It is a 1957 Spohn convertible. I only know about it because it is/was owned by Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars TV show. Uncle Jimmy, pshome, cros and 9 others 12

Six-cylinder Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 It seems people will chop the roof of anything! I asked Mrs 6C if she wanted me to cut the roof off ours, but the forecast is rain! Uncle Jimmy and stillOrange 2
MarvinsMom Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 a bed fellow of the Rover Metro cabbie, the Rover Mini Convertible looks like a pram with the hood down, which i think makes it even cuter. i'd love one, though the £10-12k price of one may well scupper that. shame.....
Faker Posted October 1, 2016 Author Posted October 1, 2016 Crawford did some unusual stuff - here's a couple of my favesFucking marvellous!
Six-cylinder Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 As there was a Visa convertible sold though the dealer net work I feel entitled to inflict another Visa photo on my fellow Autoshiters. egg, Uncle Jimmy, chaseracer and 7 others 10
John F Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I hope that Spohn picture is pre-resto.That door shut line looks awful. Aston Martin 1
SiC Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 There are smart cars, then there are these smart car convertibles. Actually a proper Merc made thing too. Named the Smart Crossblade. Spotted on Seaton seafront with both wearing German plates. Yes that is a OEM small plexiglass windshield tacked onto the front! Not quite sure the purpose of it - maybe gets around some sort of EU regulations that say you have to have a windscreen of some sort? Who said that the Germans don't do humour? gm, Aston Martin, Fabergé Greggs and 2 others 5
chaseracer Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Aston Martin, bub2006, Uncle Jimmy and 2 others 5
