Great number plates - got any?

We had to call out an emergency plumber on Monday. He promptly attended and parked his van in the driveway and I helped him carry some equipment into the house. He then carried ME into the house, after I'd collapsed with laughter, after looking at his van's registration.....

I can't remember it with any detail, mainly due to the speed it passed, but an Audi with "BEEES" or very similar.

An apiarist perhaps.

Was actually RU61SSH ...

was still being driven like a twat though

this was as he came down off the pavement at 40mph, slammed on the brakes, swung out , tight turn left back across the pavement, no indicators, luckily no pedestrians either.

Did the bin man order his number plate via the medium of a ventriloquist's doll?  Who, incidentally, is also the driver.

Saw TOW 50S but it was on a 7.5 ton flatbed, possibly with hi-ab. Looked more builders merchants than recovery truck

Maybe it's time you took an eyetest! :)

We spent a couple of nights in Helensburgh this week. The next village along the coast is Rhu. It seems every second resident has an RHU registration.

Are plates from Amurica allowed?

Found this during a trawl through some old holiday photos. Taken in San Francisco (hence wonky parked angle).

Bound to have been spotted before, but 73 BGT in Nugent Centre, St. Mary Cray, Kent. No prizes for guessing what on. Very nice to see a near 50-year-old car out and about in November.

Lol. Very good. Now you mention such things, I've just seen the grill should have been recessed and it's not. More confusion!

At the London - Brighton old crocks run today.

That's great. I normally hate illegal spacing because it usually makes something unintelligible but that's just brilliant. I'm guessing that's Staplefield? I was planning to go there today but thought better of it with the weather. Is there the usual assortment of interesting vehicles or have people stayed away? I feel sorry for the participants in this deluge.

Talking of mis-spaced, I saw LUV 130X using illegal characters/spacing to say LUV BOX on a Boxster.

Sounds like a euphemism for a ladies front bottom to me

That would look good on the back of a Rover P6

Yes. A very wet Staplefield. You didn’t miss much. Not many spectators there. Just enough to fill the bus shelter. I put pictures of the few items of interest in the Lazy Spotters thread.

Ah thanks. What a shame. Makes me feel better as during the odd three seconds today when it stopped raining I wondered whether I'd wimped out. Thanks for the pics.
