Not much for me to choose from, such is country life. Ending soonest within 25 miles is this hideous Golf. It's not really within 25 miles, only as the crow flies thanks to the Solway being in between that there England and myself.

Sticking more to spirit of the rules I get a 2004 Vectra and a 2005 Pug 407 SW but those'll go for more than £500 leaving me with this incredibly dull Punto. 2d 22h remaining, £300, no bids, BIN £495.

Or, if I'm really lucky****************** I could get this LHD Latvian Beetle with no documents.

As Pythagoras once said, good game, good game.

Interestingly, the top of my search list following the rules produced this honey. Funny thing is, it was already in my watch list. I really like the look of the increasingly rare Almera Gtis. This one looks like the rot has probably claimed it though.

I don't like this game. It doesn't work here. the only car for sale within 25 miles of me is a very rusty 1969 Torino fastback, which is listed for $4000.

As everything is bigger over there, you can have 250 miles.

Nope. A 2015 F150 starting at 500 bucks.

Cars aren't that cheap down here. Actually, all the cheap ones got bought after the recent flooding.

I went to collect this today.

Nice chap picked me up from the station in battered Corsa diesel.

Got to the car for sale and the battery was flat. Chap disappears to his neighbours and borrows a booster pack. It starts up fine. A bit rattly.

Took it for a test drive round the block. Oil light constantly on. Checked dipstick. Dry! Poured in about 2 litres of oil and the bottom of the dipstick showed some oil.

Started it up again and the oil light stayed on.

Had to get the train home.

Not sure if this means I've won or lost the game?

Ben

you played the game, that's good enough!
