Thats nice, but I've a loft full of the things! If the money had turned up a day earlier I could have put it towards the bridge camera i brought to play with. At the moment a hat and some steam punk glasses are going through my head.

That's what you think, bloody useful bits of kit. We have one at work and it's great for checking all sorts of stuff but particularly useful for checking box sections for rust.

So do the borescope things just plug in the micro usb port and you use some sort of App? At the moment i'm leaning towards one of those and a completely pointless set of steampunk style sunglasses I'll look even more of an idiot in. Has anyone actually brought of of those borescopes and recommend one?

the boroscope just plugs into the micro USB and acts as a camera. Only if your phone/tablet supports USB OTG though, and sadly a lot of (mainly samsung!) android stuff doesn't.
