Try as I might, the lure of new chod is hard to resist. What have you that your thinking of moving on? I've browsed the actively for sale tags, but feel free to fuel an addict and pm me or add to the thread anything you'd like to move on. Like a right slapper, no preference for age, make or model. I've got some r/c cars for sale, Tamiya TT01D with ropey e46 bodyshell and radio gear, Nikko 2wd 1/10 with Focus bodyshell and radio, plus an untested Nikko 206 - 100 quid the lot.

Could you please elaborate?

Once I've sorted the PAS issue, I'll be selling the shambolically delightful XJ40 from this thread:

Mechanically, spot-on.  Structrually, rock solid.  Cosmetically, quite horrible.

I will do a proper for-sale thread once it's had a good wash and polish, hopefully this weekend.

Vauxhall 2300S (FE Victor in other words) - lovely but carb needs fiddling with by someone who's good with carbs. Could potentially get this done for you before sale but £cheap if you take it as is.

Audi 80 2.0E auto - failed MOT recently but only on a cracked windscreen, otherwise VGC and low miles (70k-ish). £cheap if you drive it to a pre-booked MOT and get the screen sorted yourself. Cat D for a minor bump at some point.

Shonky picture of a shonky motor which obviously had to be purchased

And I'm the dork who's agreed to deliver it for him. It does look a bit shonky but WCPGW?

This weekend's End of Life Vehicle delivery commenced today.

It started with a train from crummy Croydon.

20 minutes later I was here. Nice bit of bridge shite.

For the money Italianjob's done well, as it's not bad at all. Interior is mega manky and there's some wheel wobble under braking, but I survived a quick blez along the M25 so fingers crossed it'll get me down to Devon.

Next leg of the trip is tomorrow and I'll be flying back from Exeter, so this caper is a real case of:

Left the house at 6am today. 2 hours in and it was looking wet and Neolithic. Stonehenge is there somewhere...

Arrived in West Devon around 11am, with the brick not missing a beat.

Forgot to get a pic of Italianjob doing a Woollard. After a natter and some lunch he kindly gave me a lift to Exeter airport. There was a whiff of something as we were driving along, I thought it was the LPGd Hyundai Getz in front (what a mingebag to LPG one of those) but it was definitely us. But it appears to have cured itself so that's alright, and he's very happy with his latest chod! Trouble is I want one now, I'd forgotten how good and comfy they are.

Flew home in a de Havilland DHC-8, and Mrs T picked me up from the airport which was a relief as I couldn't be arsed with public transport at that point. I treated her to a coffee and some cake as a thank you, but the robbing bastards at City Airport charged us 22 quid for 40 minutes parking. Oh well it's only money innit. She made me drive home though, so exactly 12 hours later I arrived back home in the trusty old Cav.

Am a bit tired now obviously but it's been a flippin' marvellous day. Job done!

Must own 740 before prices go up! A saloon for me though, obviously that no longer records distance travelled.

Quite a day Rob!

Well bought, and no doubt SVM & Big Yellow Bastard Enterprises will approve of this purchase

A car with that reg would have a bit of a whiff about it, No?

That Volvosaurus would still be cheap if it was twice the price you paid for it

Oh I like that 740! Good colour, perfect in GLE spec, correct transmission and it's a 2.3. A true car for life.

1st dibs if you get rid of it please! I'd love another one of these.
