Four Sail The oldest smart car in the country £500 with low miles and a long mot.

I've just been offered a new job today after being unemployed for a few months as an Ambulance driver but the commute to work and back is about 80 miles a day on mainly duel carriage way so the smart car will have to be replaced with an old diesel for the winter months.
So here it is

It's in good condition and runs extremely well and in the last year it's had a new starter motor and sump plus a new clutch and a couple of oil changes plus a breather pipe. (Still haven't changed the plugs as I've really not had the time since I last had a go)

I have also added a new aerial and base plus a new old stock cassette holder so there's somewhere to keep your change now.
I rarely clean it but given a wash it will come up lovely and the tridion looks rust free also and there's no wear on the seat bolsters etc or cracks in any the plastic panels apart from some paint fade from previous vinyl lettering.

It's also quite an upmarket example so gets the manual plus auto option and a glass roof.

I've got to admit though who came up with the spec of a yellow and black exterior with a blue interior lol.

Oh and it's done about 51000 miles and has an mot till the 25th March 2017.

It's the cheapest example around so I thought I would advertise it here first.

And I nearly forgot it's LHD so check with your insurance company first but I find it cheap to insure as I only pay £184 full comp.

Raffle , Raffle , Raffle.

28 & 44 if you do please.

Might actually take a couple of extra ones on this as well, as the wife hates Yellow cars so would be great to get her this :)

Yeah, I reckon a raffle on this would sell out PDQ.

£500! no need to be that generous, give me £50 and I'll take it to the nearest bridge for you - make that £50.05, I'll need to buy a bag to put over my head first.

Posted

If you raffle it I'll have 3 numbers:  1, 2, and 3

Posted

I'd actually have some numbers despite having had years of therapy as a result of owning a demon possessed one of these a few years ago. Brilliant idea and it is yellow. I need a yellow car in my world.

Posted

Number 5 please

The collection thread would be hilarious.

3 random numbers please, I'd buy this today if someone would buy my Alfa.

I have absolutely no use for this other than to piss off the girl in work who just bought a Smart roadster

If my XJS sells, I'd be very interested - would go well in place of the Twingo and alongside the SLK...

I remember these being launched, I was working in South Kensington at the time and their showroom was on my walk from Knightsbridge tube station.

I have no use for this car but if you raffle it I'll take two lucky dips please.
