Is that the Finnistone cran( ) in the background?

Yup, pic taken on South Street, which runs along the back of what were once all the shipyards. :(

There used to be a saloon in the same colour parked up nearby too, there's a garage opposite which seems to have all sorts of shite parked outside at times. :D

Found some shite in my town this evening, Ipswich really has some shite kicking around still.

Dodge/Renault van and a G reg bus in the corner of garden.

Discovered this tonight but couldn't get a photo, I think it's a MK 2 Cortina that's been laid up for years.

Poor Jag.

Posted Image

This Camry doesn't look like it's moved for a while.

That Allegro estate looks identical to the one some people down my road had about 10 years ago. It was in amazing condition then. It disappeared and was replaced by an A reg MG Maestro in similar condition, and now they have an R reg Metro. I look foward to seeing the photos!

Just been looking at this picture and was wondering if the silver talbot samba pictured with no headlights /grille an bumper could be my old car reg no C347 KDA? Could somebody find out because id really like to know. Sold it around 5 yrs ago now after owning it for 5 yrs as my 1st car to a guy who lived up towards derbyshire/ yorkshire way an said he had a lot of cars but could have passed through other hands since so you never know.

Have seen a couple for sale recently made think of having another but somehow owning one that wasn't that car wouldn't be the same.

That garden is intense. I want to go there for my holidays. Are those three at the back all Dauphines, d'ya reckon?

As Cobblers pointed out on the grin thread Google have updated the Streetview for some reason which will possible locate a lot of new shite or more likely show that most shite has just sat there doing sod all other than rust since the last lot of photos were taken. It also lets the more lethargic shiters go shite hunting without getting off our sweaty cracks.

Starting off though is my house.

Lancia on the road and GT6 on the drive.

Next road up is a lovely VW Polo with Mr Wendle the HiAce in the background. Mr Wendle has since moved and is getting restored.

I went past this Saab this morning. Its been there for years, not aware of it even moving.

They obviously haven't made it out to the wilds of Norfolk yet - my place still has the Humber Hawk on the driveway and the ex-Spottedlaurel Camry estate and white CX Athena on the road outside.

Posted

This place has had a serious de-clutter since I was last there.

My first thoughts are that the black car is a Citroen Traction Avant? I see the TR7 that I am keen on is still 2 cars ahead if whatever it is. Not sure what the red car is next to the Laguna but see the Doge Spacevan manky camper is still behind it.

Maybe they are updating gradually? Me working on my Imp at my old house disappeared a few months ago but the Lancia outside my current place was only a few days ago. It was this article on BBC news that prompted me to check.

There was a tasty gold Mk3 Cortina here last year. Seems to have been replaced with this bad boy.

Not updated around my neck of the woods either.

My drive still features Suzuki Alto (sold April 09) and R11 (sold Oct 09). so new pictures plz.

Google are updating street view little by little, but remember what a mammoth operation this was to begin with. I believe they are limiting their updates to major changes ( new housing estates) to start with.

Posted

My area all updated a few months ago, both my cars are out this time, also if you zoom in on Birmingham the buildings all become 3D.

Posted

My 4 year old house still isn't on streetview or maps, I need to bear this in mind when directing visitors here.

Posted

Kin 'ell, it has updated aswell! I must have checked my location only a few weeks ago and my old White Sterling there, now it features my G-reg Sterling, luckily, once again, the Micra has escaped being pictured by the Google car. Its not once featured on Google Earth (to my knowledge anyway)

This gem was found on Facebook.... it may not last the night though. Manchester's finest.

It's already been pulled off (ooer) Google Earth......

They haven't updated round here, my old grey Range Rover (that i sold 4 years ago) is still outside the house and outside work.

I started looking for other stuff and ended up browsing the south of France.

I know I can't compete with Temperance St in manchester but...

I'd have concerns about the weight of that when fully laden.

Just found this in my photo bucket, not sure I've ever put it up here.
