I only saw this car for 5 minutes as I was pushed for time, but it appears very straight and clean. Nice leathers, would be great for me personally but I don't have £2.99 to spend let alone £299. Could be a great WBOD for someone here.

As I'm a 'man of leisure' these days, I can happily assist with collection of car or buyer from train station. Will also cast a closer eye on it if needs be.

It's a garage selling it, A1 Vehicle Services in Woodgate Valley, Birmingham.

Those are a right good mile-muncher.

I believe there are folk on here who can advise on L-Series tickling for motorway Audi-bating purposes.

Had lots of fun in my old (tweaked) 420 SD and later 420 GSDi that I ran (on veg) between 2007-08. Fantastic engines.

A very underrated car. I liked mine but rust did for it in the end.

A mate had one as a taxi back in the day. Rapid fucker as well, certainly quicker than the Xantia TD I had at the time.

Ooh. Interesting.....

I am happy to send my £5.07 so Lord Sterling can buy it, but I propose he keeps it as long as he needs it and passes on within this parish when he has finished with it. I don't expect my money back but will enjoy seeing its story develop knowing I played a small part.

Wobblah! This really needs to be an AS car.

Or get 30 people to chuck in tenner. Do same thing but end of time roffle for £2 a ticket with proceeds to board.

Yeah, I'll lob a fiver in on the proviso that I get to sit in it at a Midlands Massive Event.

I'll put the seven pence in too if you let me make vroom noises.

I'll chuck in a tenner if the good Lord also sends me the Saab 900 handbook he claims to have. (Still half the price of the cheapest one on EBay). Win:Win.

Oops! Soz, forgot all about that. Monday will be my priority to send you the book.

A bit of detective work shows it's covered around 112k, looks good, pity i'm not in the country

It is quite tempting. I wonder if these are a bit too Honda-ish though and therefore might be a bit boring. Hard to argue with the value if it's not for any major flaws.

I have been looking at this but I really need to get the 605 or the Sterling fucked off first.
