Evening folks,

Posting on behalf of a colleague who hasn't come round to the beige pages. I post here what he has sent me, yes I think the wheels don't suit it but due to reasons which are fucking abundantly clear I can't have it.

1994 Vauxhall Cavalier V6 CDX auto

17in alloys, full leather, Sportex back box, performance air filter, 99250 on the clock with all old MOTs to back this up, current MOT until July 4th 2015, private plate included in sale, lots of other old paperwork, electric windows/sunroof/aerial all work, both heads, tyres, discs, drums, pads done in the last eighteen months.

Fuel computer needs calibrated for the V6, aircon needs recharged, and it needs handbrake shoes. I've seen the car and it'd be sitting on my drive if I didn't really, really need my testicles.

Asking price is £600, NO OFFERS. Car is located within ten minutes of Glasgow Airport.

Oh.my.god.

v6 cavalier. Timing belt roulette beckons for the new owner as it is a PITA - I considered one 15 years ago but local vaux tech told me great car but a twat to work on with the V6 hoofed in.

Somebody on here must buy it surely?

I think RobT might be off the hook as he's just bought one.  But everyone else who got excited about Satin Red Cav mk3 CDs - now's your chance to prove you're worthy...

THANK FUCK this is an auto, otherwise I might not have been able to resist it.

The alloys need binning, but otherwise that is a definite spaff.

Despite their impracticalities, I much prefer the saloons.

Timing belt isnt that bad to DIY - I have the Vauxhall tech manaul section on belt replacement I can post up if anyone wants it.

Nice old car right there, I had a scrap saloon v6 auto as a field racer a few years ago, pretty fast on the stubble fields anyway! Hope someone saves this one

Yes, he's got a mk3 already, I pictured Rob basically stockpiling all remaining cav cd autos.

Those wheels are actually not too bad. I'm out as I'm skint.

Go on go on go on.

I used to dream of that car, (well the saloon, and with a 6 speed manual box from the turbo) but that colour and a V6.

Trouser tent situation going on here. However, my focus is on an old Renault at the moment so I'm out.
