What is it with you and ignition systems this last month or so?

Your not fixing them fast enough whilst also creating a full compatible parts list whilst correcting decades old parts databases at the same time.

I hope your making him a nice spreadsheet of all the parts his cars require as you go? 🤣

That's at least the second @Six-cylinder Jaaaaaaaag that @Talbot's killed!

Only temporarily though, cos he's a bit of an XK-whisperer... 😎

At least, if it is the coil, it's an easy fix.

being a fool I got press ganged into this weekend's village Drama Group production;  will keep my fingers crossed for my availability for the next FoD - the camper is now MoT'd which is a good start

Best wishes to all, not at all envious

That's a useful feature on W210s - if you ever break down on a windy day all you have to do is put the bonnet in the service position and sail home.

Sadly that's as far as we've got. Looks like there is a fault with the injector pump, as there's diesel reaching it but not spurting out on cranking. Stop solenoid is OK, so Talbot has taken off the pump for further investigation.

Probably less than ideal conditions to be stripping it down outdoors in a field though!

Thanks to Ryanair, I arrived in Bournemouth nearly two hours late, sorry I couldn't make this one. >_<

Wot, no HOT tractor action? It’s all the rage in Westminster.

Sorry to miss you all, even @hairnet (slightly) - see you next time.

In other news, all the Dyane jobs are done!  I even managed to do some electrics, which apparently work...

What's the story with the Samurai? It looks like it's previously had some lift attention.
