Kin 'ell man, more Blue Corsas. Feckless_Cuzin_Sterling had one these exactly the same but much tidier with a 1.6 engine and some chav airbox tyat apparently "made it faster". He has since sold it but has carried on the Feckless_Dole_Queue_botherer tradition of chavving up Vauxhalls with his latest Mk1 Zafira.

 

Neighbour up the road also has a doom_Blue Corsa, his is a 1.0, treated like a bin and never cleaned/serviced. I keep checking/topping up the oil/coolant levels on his cars as he has no concept/arsedness of doing it himself, cars are a mystery to him. No wonder his W-reg MR2 ended sitting on his drive for years before being scrapped.

Things what I have discovered this morning:

 

The nearly brand new tyre on the alloy in the boot is flat. Needs a sidewall repair, opened it up (at a tyre house) and it's already had one major repair and has been run flat since. Part worn fitted, Ã‚£16.

 

New clutch cable has been fitted, speedo doesn't work: Possibly related? I.e removed one to get to the other, or removed wrong thing initially?

 

EML is on (they'd told me about that) but it ran well and is actually quite quick if you welly it.

 

Radiator fan comes on with ignition.

 

I got it a further about 8% cheaper because they didn't find the MOT certificate.

 

 

*Edit: there was a £40 cycle pump in it as well. CASHBACK.
