Didn't I always say how GR8 these cars are?

To be fair, I've had my OMGDMFINJECTORPHAIL TDCi for 10 months now and it's given sterling service, never once having a Vectra C DTI-style "failure to proceed".

Last week, I thought to myself: "haven't seen a mk3 Mundano for ages - where have they all gone?"  Of course, since then, the bloody things are all over the place!

"Here at Cavcraft Ltd we pride ourselves in providing the right* car at the right price. So many of our competitors charge premium rates for any old bag of shite. Here at cavcraft, it's cheap for a specific reason. And if you're too daft to work out why, then this Mondeo in Jewish racing Gold is just for you. Ould Aaht yer 'Aand, £900. No warranty implied or given. If you want your money back, you can fuck off. Service with a smirk. Now get off my land or I'll set my fierce* guard dog on you."

Good one on the Zafira 👌 Hopefully you'll manage to punt it on ok! Can't stand MPVs of any description. Mondeo looks ok though. My mate just scrapped his 02 1.8 only because it was worthless and the mot ran out. Gave his dad and then him good service apart from the odd wheel bearing.

They're nice to drive, but the leather interiors are grim, it felt like I was sitting on the Grim Reaper's lap. I reckon the velour would be OK though.

When my dad sold his, he took the stereo out. He offered it to me, but it was just the plastic front bit, which is not supposed to come off anyway. He must've just pulled it off, and assumed the CD went into some inter-dimensional void.   :boomer:

Boring update:

Took the daughter's Punto for an MOT the other day, failed on the following:

Parking brake efficiency below requirements

Wind screen wiper does not clear screen effectively nearside front

Brake pipe inadequately supported

Rear wheel bearing rough when rotated

So, not too bad for a 15 year old FIAT, I suppose. Anyhow my mate there sorted it and it was only £80 (work carried out) +£40 for the test itself. I SORNed it this morning as I';d forgotten to do so previously, and when I went to tax it this evening it knobbed me right off. Rang the DVLA and they just went 'Oh yeah, you can't tax via us (on the phone) or on the internet for another 5 days, you'll have to go to the Post Office. WTF?

Got 3x20 litres of veg, brimmed the 306 and lobbed about 10 litres in the Berlingo.

Well, someone had to do it...

Someone had to do what?

You haven't bought a bloody Harley Davidson have you, Billy? Prepare for the mockery if you have... lol.

You won the lottery?

Had a sharp blow to the head?

Elderly relative thrown a 7 and left you a matress stuffed with slightly damp £20's?

Either new cars are mega cheap now or there's some amazing profit in £200 snotters.

is it an i20 or something?

Please confirm that the entire offside has been down the central reservation & hence the car cost £200, otherwise normality isn't working properly.

I hope half you are taking this piss? I'm not keen, but the bloody Viva has been advertised everywhere! Call yourselves car enthusiasts? Blinkered old miseries more like. Well done Cavcraft!

I have the qualifications to carry out a mental health assessment and section peple if nescessary, i'm 20 mins from Chester, if there are genuine concerns about Cavcrafts wellbeing( and there's looks to be good cause due to a massive behavioural change!) send me his location and I'll do what needs to be done :-D

It wasn't a pisstake!

I genuinely could not tell the difference between that & the Hyundai i20.

Here's the Hyundai:

Now that I look closely, the B pillars are different & the rear windows are longer on the Vauxhall.

ALL MODRNS R IDENTICL.

Vauxhalls tagline is "just like the old viva"

But  its not.

It comes with a passenger mirror for starters - and, I bet this doesnt come with dealer fit rusty wings.

I did go a bit mad and ordered it with an electric sunroof, but in my indefensible defence, opted to stay with wheel trims.
