dollywobbler Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Interesting, especially if I could make sense of the price. Pics?
dollywobbler Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Brilliant. What a fabulous thing. I shall play both the poverty and distance cards however.
Inspector Morose Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Yummy. And powered by the Devils fuel too!
scruff Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 P4s with a Tdi dropped in are serious fun, I wish I had some money!!
Lankytim Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Oh I'd love that! It's atleast 10x my budget though. Is it rusty?
Asimo Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I wish I had NO CARS because that is just such a desirable thing. Honestly, that has to be an excellent choice for a daily. Any "under-bonnet" shots to perv over please?
rml2345 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I bet that's bloody brilliant fun and would make a genuinely interesting daily driver. Damned poverty.
Skoze Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 OMGWOW! It's just like the one we ran around in a few years a go but not fucked, that's a honey! Properly fun combo. A scally somewhere en route to the up north asked us 'does it spin' - after this challenge was set, a Rover P4 did a burnout in a McDonalds car park and grey haired men across the country had heart palpitations. barefoot, vulgalour, MrBiscuits and 1 other 4
John F Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 That "Swiss tax disc" is a motorway toll vignette. Only useful if you end up on a Swss motorway, really.
AlabamaShrimp Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Is this the Swiss thing? I've got this one stuck to the Frontera. No doubt it'll come off when the windscreen delaminates
Sigmund Fraud Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 This is truly marvellous... I'll see if I can rob a local bank, and report back !
Dick Cheeseburger Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I know it's not cricket, but would you consider selling the plate separately?
dollywobbler Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 The nice man at the border said I had to have it in order to enter his country, that will be 44 euros. No possibility to opt out however far you intend to travel or on what roads. He got quite angry when I tried to drive off without it.... Were you entering on a motorway? I've done much border-crossing in my 2CV at the Franso-Swiss changeover with no problems at all. Didn't pay for a vignette as I had no intention of driving on Swiss motorways.
madwelshman Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Damn, Damn, Damn!!I wish I had the money for this, I've been thinking how great a Tdi would be in a P4 for a while now.Good luck with the sale.
garbaldy Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Its got a 200 tdi bolted straight onto standard o/drive box, Nice car but isn't that a 300tdi engine though?
scruff Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Disco flavour 200, innit.More Rover porn please if you have another one...

Yep, you can avoid the vignette nazis if you enter the country via A road, or at unwholesome times of day.
Skoze Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Put a Defender 200tdi in the next one, i want to see a P4 with a turbo sticking out of the bonnet. madwelshman 1
inconsistant Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Put something see through between the Scheissebahn tax and the windscreen and it's probably* removeable. We didn't* use ours in 3 different cars last year.
