On a similar note, these will be known to the hardcore Autoshite fraternity, but they are new to me (and this thread). The Ferves Ranger. Apart from the ridiculous levels of cute, I also dig the none flush fit doors and ludicrous levels of positive camber on the rear wheels. I do miss the baby off/soft roader, the niche is now well and truly occupied by quads and atvs but they lack the sense of fun you got from a Mehari or a Moke or a Kubelwagen or whatever it was.

I remember seeing one of these in a rap video out of all places a few years ago (not into hip hop, but an interesting choice of car in this music video)

I was going to say it looks like the bastard lovechild of a Dauphine and an early Porsche 356, but bunglebus's description is better.

Well, doesn't happen very often, but today I learned about a car I've never seen before. The Wood & Picket MGB. Interesting!

Another obscure homebuilt thingy! Found in the March 1969 issue of Der Deutsche Strassenverkehr, an Eastern German magazine.

After your post I  naturally went looking as i had never heard about this.

Results show one predominately thing. A Guy in Madrid is asking about this one car.

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=81&t=1848508

The following questions  if the car is a W&P.

This conversation, from the same forum says that University Motors done a similar cock up with the rectangle headlights.

There a number of differences.

It looks OK in the metal.  @Inspector Morose and I saw the blue one when we raided the Volvo museum in Gothenburg in 2017.

It does look a bit like you went to the scrap yard for a pair of headlights and they didn’t have the correct ones, so you picked something at random.

No I meant you in a general way as in someone / anyone sense, rather than talking directly to YOU. Clear?

I knew that the  A108 was made & sold in Brazil as the Willys Interlagos Berlinette, and could even get it as a convertible...

Suzuki LJ20. Never knew these came with a 360cc two stroke!

And finding that ^ lead me to this, the Hopestar ON360

It seems Suzuki didn't have a lot of knowledge of how to build a 4x4, so bought out a company that did and rebodied/re-engined theirs!
