Dollywobbler's GR-8 Rover - getting better all the time

Looks like comparison websites could be your friend here.

Comparison sites are unlikely to be as cheap as adding a car to my existing policy. If it's over 20, it's just a £15 admin charge. Adding a later 600 would only be another £70 as I'm due a refund for the Sirion cancellation before end of term. As it happens, I'm now able to go and view a 1998 diesel. I'm also going to be saying goodbye to the Maestro van. Danger! I'll have actual cash-money in my hand!

I did call about the Probe, as I do like them. Knackered clutch and no idea when timing belt was last done. NEXT!

Wow, £295 car in 'needs work done' shocker!

I'm fussy. So fussy I've turned down two cars today, including a Nightfire Red 600 diesel which turned out to be super shonky and being sold by the dodgiest guys. Ever. Now at Bham International waiting for the Maestro buyer. Then I think I've just agree to buy that Benidorm Rover to get home! Not seen it yet. Need to check train times... FUN!

Sounds like a proper shiter's adventure. Actually needing a charity banger rally car to get home.

It's not impossible to find a cheap car that has recent service history.

Is the generation 6 Honda ACCORD not just the same as the 600 ?

Was it that free Sirocco with no T&T?

Or one of the parts cars from KruJo's farm?

That free Scirocco was a 1000 times better than expected.

Free Scirocco? Bloody hell.

If anyone sees a free/very cheap Audi Coupé GT...

Let us consider the facts mes amis; Monsieur wobbler craves the 1994 or earlier chod, has expressed an interest in MG Rover products and is strangely attracted to purple.

I present to you, by the power of the little grey cells........................................................................................

 THIS!

Did you get it, Trig?

No although in hindsight I wish I did! A work mate bought it as a winter project as he wanted one, other than a oil pressure issue which could be the sender unit it seems good.

Oh, that bad.

Is it a VAG TDi in silver on rubber band tyres with an iPod adapter and a punitive finance rate?

No, not really.

I quite like it.

But i also think Mr Wobbly is being incredibly brave. I shall say no more and not spoil the surprise.
