Interesting photography.  It's got shades of Lowry with the shadows.

No clue myself - I nicked this (plus the date) from a Facebook Group I'd fell into whilst looking for TruckShite.
There's a pile of old (and some really old) pictures in there and a lot of them have no real attributes or curation-bit of a shame as (I feel) the original posters will pass on and leave us with a pile of unlabelled, unknown images :-(
There's also the fact that 1968/1971 is way before* my time (liar, liar, pants on fire)

Rear engined Renault Dauphine looks like it is going to get further up the hill than the Ford Anglia.

Morris Air Mail van built by Duple to the design of sculptor Maurice Lambert (brother of Constant), 1935. Note the de Havilland Rapide (?) taking off in the background.

Whenever you see people in a 105e you realise how narrow they are. The occupants always look slightly out of scale to it somehow.

It was a really strange decision to make it 4 inches narrower than its predecessor, especially at a time when cars were starting to get bigger. The older car looks better proportioned. The 105E was narrower than a Morris Minor.

The clarity of the photo is something else. It also highlights a huge difference between then and now - civic pride. Just look at how immaculate everything is, right down to the roads and pavements and no litter to be seen anywhere.
