That is fantastic. Good luck with the auction.

I will not bid on one condition...

When you collect the car can you ask the seller to show you which barn he found the car in, and mention the fact that he 'found it in a barn' so is it even his to sell?? Or did he just forget he owned it?

That's been up at least twice before. He seems convinced that it's worth money.

The steering wheel is like a cartoon sad face.

The entire car is like a cartoon sad face, hence it must be saved.

You won't get that for £73... or £173 by the looks of it,

What have you done wrong that you feel the need to take such a big penance!

Early 2000s minicab-tastic! Good luck bidding. That looks GR1690.

Looks very tidy for something that's been forgotten in a draughty old barn for years!  I wonder if all that paperwork was in the car, or tucked in a drawer somewhere in the adjoining farmhouse?  It's a miracle the mice didn't get at it all.

Bid away, I won't trip you up.  May you win it for less than bridge money! :-D

Philibusmo ... had a beige one for a while.

Phil's was an earlier shape hatchback:

The iconic* Hyundai Pony 1.3 Sonnet Tropicana, no less.

The saloons like the ebay one are as common as muck in Chiang Mai where I go for winter. The head of my department where I worked out there had one too, it was sun-scorched to bare metal in places!

This one lives at the bottom of my street, maybe it's had a re-spray; the 90's-tastic colour scheme looks box fresh:

They're called "Excel" in that part of the world, and are a favourite with the Barry boys, believe it or not!

Also, I've just noticed, the wheel trims have a slightly different design. :D

It might be all the flu remedy drugs I have taken as its not very 'Autoshite' of me, but I could not bring myself to part money for such an awful bland looking car. In its defence it does not look as old as 1994 design wise IMO but it looks terminally dull and uninspiring in every way possible.

This photo is interesting though.

So he has this and the Bentley, whats in the background?

Dunno, but that registration needs a carefully placed number plate screw :D

I had the misfortune of owning one of those pieces of turd a few years back. It was the most boring, unpleasant thing I've ever owned/driven. If you went towards a bend at anywhere over 35mph I swear it wasn't attached to the road.

I'm struggling to remember anything nice about it at all, in fact I think I've blocked pretty much every memory of it out of my mind apart from the overwhelming sense of pleasure I got when I sent it over the bridge to meet its bastard maker.

Sorry, that sounds as though I didn't like it.

I had one as my third car, and owned it for 2 years, way longer than anything else I've had. Loved every minute of it, but being a boy racer, I thrashed it til the engine went bang. :-/
