ebay 'BARGAINS'

Motorhomes of any description always seem to me to be ludicrously over-priced.

Totally! What's that all about then?

There must be money in doing motorhome conversions to quadruple the price of a shagged old van or pickup.

Minibuses I think usually.

I imagine it's quite probable my LDV will end up being converted by someone if I end up selling it on eBay, which would be a shame in some respects but at least would probably guarantee it a longer life!

Yes; before the taxman put paid to my plans, I was thinking of buying that and making a sort of half-arsed campervan (two rows of seats with a bed/seat and a teeny kitchen unit behind).

Yep. These have quite a strong following, and tidy examples fetch decent money. If this has a solid chassis and is as tidy in the metal as it looks in the pics it'll hold its value.

£2500 (seller's BIN price) is a bit salty though, IMO. But not excessively so. Shame about the cone air filter, a standard airbox with panel filter would have been better.

I thought his BIN and threatening to remove it if it doesn't make what he wants was a bit over the top.

Purple Hoss has gone quiet these days. So a quick check shows it has been dissolved.

But just think of the amount of pussy it will bring you

Ooh, didn't know purple helmet had gone down the plug hole, wonder if his stock will make reapearances in "the great white void" at massively inflated prices.

At the price, I think this seller thinks this Fulvia Saloon is a MK1 Escort.........

To be fair I imagine you could use the 850 horses a maximum of half a dozen times before that blew up as well.

That Viva/Aston Martin thingy is ace. If I was incredibly rich I would buy that get it road legal and accidentally die driving it into a tree at an alarming speed.

He's getting annoyed with all the watchers now, but he does take his car for regular journeys up & down his nan's driveway (which is presumably flat, thus removing the need for a handbrake)...

"it goes through all gears tidy". I've never seen an untidy gearbox. Are they prone to not making their bed in the morning, and heaving apple cores out the window?

Crikey.  One of my dear old Blighty Barges has popped up

I kept this one for a year, sold it 2009ish to a nice man from the telly.  He's spent plenty of coin    Though perhaps not quite in the right areas.   It's picked up a few bubbles since I had it, but it's stood up well for the use he's given it!  Interior was tidy back then too, in need of a feed, that was all.  The Landcrab club said at the time it was the oldest surviving of the automatic Wolseleycrabs.

I accidentally read that in a welsh accent, then looked and saw the seller is in Swansea.

Tidy!

Now, I know I made some comments a while back about E-Type Slaaaagz, but i've listened to all of your opinions, and as the S3 is deemed to be the least desirable, why is this one so much cash?

$(KGrHqR,!nwFIJHTVuJtBSDlrU7W-Q~~60_12.JCould it be the low* mileage?

683 miles - This is an exceptional and unique example

Blimey, The Doctor will see you now (etc)

covered less than a 1000 miles since its restoration

Oh. That's a bit norty innit?

Hmmm. £74k is still a whole load of dosh though.

Also watching.

He's quick. The latest listing had not long ended.

Surprisingly, with zero bids.

Someone local go and tyre kick it. That may just push him over the edge. :D

Is it a year for that 405 yet? He's probably spent £500 in listing fees by now.

£8000 is absolutely ridiculous for that P100, what a comedian.
