I think we need to spice it up a bit more now, maybe someone bids then retracts with not long to go :lol: That'll get his hopes up

This cruelty must end. Has anybody tried to reason with him?

Yes, search backwards a few months and ebay conversations have been posted

"somehow" Pistonheads are now aware of the car. So that will be a few more watchers......

That 190E is stupid money like!!! There seems to be a band of 190 lovers who seem to think that they are worth loadsa coin..................to all those out there your WRONG!! Are they classy? Yes. Are they nice to drive? Unless it's a 1.8 or a manual then yes. Are they reliable? Yes. So what's my problem? They are far too many shed's still around and like most German cars they are not seen as classics and never will be........think 80s BMWs and you will know what i mean.

I kind of think they make more sense when new, the small Mercedes, as you buy it based on it being an affordable entry but when they're coming towards 20 years old if you want a Benz then why would you have a shortie when you could go super-sized?

Or you could just decide not to spunk £4k on one.

For the 6th time

It's actually something around 15th-20th, he had a break of listing it for a couple of months. Somebody posted the original listing a while back but that's many pages and months ago.

Looking at his feedback, and the price he's been getting for 1/8 scale models, if you scale things up, that 406 is worth £361

We should club together to buy it then send a lorry with a grab to collect it.

"Smashy smashy".

I will put up £10.00 and another tenner if anyone knows where the quote is from.

Nope, it's worth £2.37

£12,500!

What a complete and utter pissed up Knob Warbler this geezer is. It's not even the right fucking model of Reliant, it looks shit, the 'Pepsi & Shirley' in the back look like Samuel L Jackson and Jonny Fucking Vegas in a wig.

'the best trotter van in the world'

If it was the ONLY 'Trotter van' in the world it still wouldn't be the best, it's just fucking rubbish. I sincerely hope the four offers he's had have been for 37p or something.

I'm not sure where this should go really - as the clearly stoopid price is down to the bidders rather than the seller.

Anyway, £15,000 - kind of sums up why I lost interest in these lovely old things....

I reckon this 'facelift' version had the best rear end of any car ever.

Fifteen grand and you can't be arsed to sort out that flat tyre.

Theres no way that'll actually make fifteen grand, I bet we see it again in a week or so.

Yeah but they have chrome bumpers and no sunroof which according to a highly reputable motoring tv series increases their value hugely.

Holy crap - three grand starting price notwithstanding, WTF's the deal with the pink seats? Has he tried to 'restore' them with some crappy kit or were they just an unfortunate combination of the decade that time forgot and Mercedes 'yessir' department? :x

Re that ^

(1)THE AMOUNT OF RUST CAN BE COUNTED ON ONE HAND, WITH A NEW (2)CHARACTER FLYWHEEL THAT AS ALWAYS MADE A NOISE WHEN FIRST TURNING IT OVER. IT NEEDS £300 SPENDING ON WELDING TO THE CHASSIS TO GET IT THROUGH ITS MOT

(1)Rust size of hand?? Thats dear welding at £300

OR

Five bits of rust? Top, bottom, middle, left, right ?

AND

(2)what the flip is a 'character flywheel'? Something like spin the bottle?
