I just can't get shot of this dishwasher!! They retail at £700 odd!

It's pretty small and could be stashed away somewhere in readyness for use as an emergency dishwasher should your main dishwasher burst into flames or something, or kept in the car and used as a "travel dishwasher" for dishwashing on the go. Don't know what you'd do about a water supply though. or electric.

£700 for your dishes washed?

I think you can get married for less than that.

It's a long time since I've sold a car...it will probably be a long time until I do again!

I keep saying this. It never is though...

I love buying cars, I just hate the hassle of selling the things. Would someone with some skills and a bit of patter like to start webuyanyshite.com?

I think I'm the only shiter here who enjoys selling more than buying. I IZ PERVERT

buy mine and enjoy re-selling it later!

Yup. You rather walked into that Warren. Then, flushed with cash and after blowing some of the Bluebird proceeds on a sheepskin coat, you can buy my Merc!

Hard to see why this hasn't been snapped up.

The flex 5 seating on the hatchback is bloody ace for putting a big box in the boot, and still getting the tailgate to shut.

These made bloody good Taxis back in the day. The seats were ace for fitting all the big suitcases in on Airport runs.

still here, £230 quid takes it (plus the tax if reqd)

Is this not the reason for the existence of CAVCRAFT...?

It is, and I am fairly tempted but I've already got one untaxed, petrol engine saloon here and common sense (whatever that is) would dictate I just tax and use it. And as I can't afford the tax on the Bluey it sadly rules me out.

It's going down a bomb on there isn't it!, still is the perfect time to plug your RG!

Acerbic comments off plastic wankers who've never driven one. One of the main glossy mags listed this type of Bluebird in their 100 Cars To Drive Before You Die feature due to the good handling and bulletfroof mechanicals. If you're the sort of tosser who honestly believes that the type of car you drive is more likely to get you laid then the Bluey isn't for you, unfortunately Penisheads is full of those type of people. Oddly enough, that type of person probably couldn't score in a brothel with a £50 note tied to their todger regardless of what model Audi they drive.

I tried to link to this, but copying the thread link didn't work (not sure if PH or AS), so the best I could do was mention the 'brown' forum...

Has had alot of typical PH responses though sadly. I think it's an epic SOTW

Yep, LankyTim is going to look after it for a bit. :)

Yep, it was me! I have no need for it but just fancied some filthy Bluey action. Drives spot on but the repaired zorst gave out on the way home! Still love it though!

oh dear, more no nails needed!  It will be puffing out the back of the silencer. I had to do it about a month ago but I guess a duel carriageway run might have been too much for it.

Phew, at last. Well done Tim!

Giving it some beans on the way back, were you? :P

Actually, yeah a bit. Turns out a 1.6 bluebird is slower than a Pissrat TDi... Drives smashing. The exhaust is no biggie at all. Easy to fix it with a new section or something.

Great it stayed 'in the community'

If it lingered any longer I think i'd have caved in and bought it myself

Top work, glad to see it's staying in the fold - I had found myself thinking up inventive reasons to take it myself, it's hard to see how you could get a more useable everyday car for less cash.  Against modern blobular shapes that all look more or less the same, the Bluey's clean lines are looking quite sharp and stylish these days too.

The back end of a Bluebird hatch is a fine looking thing indeed. The nose is a touch too long though I reckon, though it does mean good engine access!
