1979 Triumph Spitfire! (For Sale)

I'm seriously thinking of selling this now. Two years of fun and I still love the thing. However the money would be useful for new hobbies and garage space would be useful to have more room when working on the Midget. Not sure on price but looking through eBay on others, I reckon £3450-ish?

Runs and drives really well. Older restoration so some rust is coming through in parts. No worse than when I bought it two years ago though.

I know if I drive it I'll change my mind. But I need to be sensible and let it go. So I probably shouldn't drive it so my mind doesn't get swayed.

I probably should do a proper advert really.

Good money that. Sad to see it go but should have no bother at that money 👍

Quotes that didn't age well 😂

In truth I'm not sad as I like this a lot. Plus the VDP has gone so I'm at least down on numbers. (For now)

Weather is cracking the next few days and seemed a bit of a shame to awake it from it's slumber and give it an airing.

Obligatory (long) cold start. Fuel had drained back so a lot of cranking was needed to suck it up through.

Then a quick spin around the local lanes.

Then back home to clutter the driveway. I probably need to reduce the fleet further really.

However one is now cluttering my neighbours drive with their own driveway ornament as another car is inbound when I get around to sorting picking it up. Don't get too excited, it's not a classic.
