Beautiful Puma on a really nice street round the corner from me. Far nicer than the identikit SUVs everyone else had.

In Grimsby too, and neither on bricks or on fire.

Didn't know I had a 1970s football club chairman living near me!

Also somewhere you can learn about Wombats, or do they teach them?

I spotted this when I was on my usual route with the dog earlier. I haven’t seen it parked there before. I think there has been a bit of discussion about it on here before. It’s an older wife I’ve seen driving it.

Worrying sight near me yesterday:

IMG20240614175327.jpg.3244d4b5fbd078f6170557c934a74750.jpg

The 7 day notice of intended removal was dated the 12th. Registered 1982 so presumably tax and MOT exempt, so I guess it just needs to be insured to get a free ticket and stay legal?

I think we've established before that there's nothing that can be done to step in in this situation though? :(

I'm not a VW licker but I assume a T3 Devon is worth a lot more than scrap even as a project?

Indeed they are, but they’re not exactly uncommon either.

As for stepping in, if someone is wealthy and or careless enough to let an asset like this be stripped from them, then that is their life-choice. Though if this was once someone’s pride and joy and incapacity or other force majeure has led to this situation, then that is, indeed, a shame, but something only close family or friends would be able to assist with.

Was shocked when I saw how much these sell for nowadays! Also, not usually a fan of private plates but at least this one is at least quite clever

Given up campervans. Prefers Youth hostels now.

This is in the work car park today. Bravo to the rider for risking life and limb to get to work

We had a thread recently, appears there’s a tiny bit you can try to do if you want
