Seen today at my local garidge where they're built. I'm shakey on how these cars evolved but doubtless someone here will know. Looks nicely made.

Pieman got it in one Egg! I meant to update the thread with it’s MOT outcome, needless to say it was a pass. A well looked after example so it seems.

Try doing an MOT history check on that.

Does a Bedford Rascal...sorry, I mean Daihatsu...whatever they badged it as...coming around a roundabout nearly on two wheels count?

Still reckon driving one of those on a windy day was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.

Didn't half shift though.

It's a Mégane II. Arguably worse. But that's a later one and has slightly less electrical problems than the early Mégane II. (Only just mind)

Oddly enough I took a photo of a derelict Shadow on a flatbed in that exact spot about 2 years ago....

Mercedes 280TE in full old money spec

There are very few cars I would trade the Jag for, this is one of them.

I seem to remember from my ex-pat mate's collection of NZ trader mags that these W123 kept a hefty part of their value much longer than they did in the UK.   You should indeed try one, my 280E is still sorely missed....

Neighbours opposite had a 1981 S123 for so many years. It was yellow. They only replaced it because it was stolen!

Now, Berlin Taxi beige is not an unusual colour for W124s, but on a coupe? And those Autoshite racing stripes...

That colour really suits that I think.

Spotted here a couple of days back...have noticed lately that this generation of Civic is starting to get to be a rare sight.

post-21985-0-98586400-1544636476_thumb.jpg

Remember having a loan of one of these a few years back and that while it was utterly uninspiring to look at or sit in, was an absolute hoot to drive.  Not sure if the fact that the engine didn't deliver any meaningful power anywhere on the.lower half of the rev counter might have become wearing in a daily driver though...

Then there's this thing.  I've spotted it a few times but never had the opportunity to snap a photo of it.  They say a picture paints a thousand words...

post-21985-0-19307700-1544636653_thumb.jpg

In this case I reckon 999 of those words should never have been spoken.
