LabRat Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Saw this in the local tesco and was so shocked i had to grab a photo... I think it was once a Ssangyong Korando, but answers via carrier pigeon to the usual address! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk vulgalour and Lacquer Peel 2
NorfolkNWeigh Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Redneck pickup in Highgate ,of course. Yes,that's a Z8 in the carpark of The Festival of the Unexceptional. NorfolkNWeigh Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Bowness on Windermere today... sim1.jpg sim2.jpg sim3.jpgI love these Simcas, but I must be turning into a even more miserable fart than I thought because my first thought was that they'd look better without the alloys.By the way are they Delta rims on that 1100?
barefoot Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Can't compete with those Simcas, but here's a couple of recent imports at the unit next door. A bit of an old Jag... And then a humungous old Jag, a 420G and a Corniche. Out of interest, that thing on the left towering over the attractive old British Motor cars is some sort of modern softroad Vulva. mouseflakes, brickwall, anonymous user and 2 others 5
J-Rod Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I love old 420G jags. Rumour has it, there was a US model which came in black/dark green, had the same spoked wheels/whitewalls as that S-type, and dark green tinted windows. Can't find a picture of one but did find this (so I've posted it for my own amusement). What was the difference between them and the Mk10s? anonymous user, brickwall and Jim Bell 3
barefoot Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I love old 420G jags. What was the difference between them and the Mk10s? Good question, apparently it boils down to the stripe down the centre of the grill, side indicator repeaters and punched leather on the seats! And it's not a Mk10, it's a Mk X. J-Rod 1

And it's not a Mk10, it's a Mk X.Ha, you just know that they did X rather than 10, due to some chap with a pipe and tweed in the naming office... J-Rod Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Who punched the leather seats?!?!Some nice gentlemen from Hackney, sir... Best not too ask too many questions. All one really needs to know is that it's a fabulous automobile and you'll get many more miles happy motoring from her yet. Would sir like to proceed with the transaction?
