aotb Posted April 23, 2025 Posted April 23, 2025 A few from my trip to Czechia/Slovakia last week. I think most of the eastern block stuff dissapeared a good decade ago, about as fast as the sills on about half the cars in Slovakia. The Trabi looked like it was being driven by the original owner. There must have been a Yank meet going on. Got a very enthusiatic greeting from a guy in some kind on 70s barge around Liberec. Only a few of the rear engined Skodas still around. No one will notice. One of very few Matiz seen - Part of a silly competition, hence BL's finest also making an appearance. Xantia and Golf were both part of the group. Only one needed some mechanical attention. There's a few Felicias hanging on. The TT looked to be a UK import. Not sure if the paint fell off before or after it came over. Finally, a lovely 205 D turbo, clearly just being used as a car. Morris 63, Gompo, Yoss and 8 others 11
Popsicle Posted April 23, 2025 Posted April 23, 2025 Saw this on the motorway earlier, I think it was an Aston Martin badge, but not 100% sure? uk_senator and Gompo 2

Badge is similar to AM. Just found out they did a Morgan Midsummer. They stopped making them as too many owners were being murdered! (Actually would have been a good car for the new Bergerac series). Popsicle and Gompo 1 1

Aston's seem to look very modern at the mo, this looked new but more retro, the Morgan makes sense.

It is a Morgan Midsummer, the Aero 8 has been out of production for a while. Popsicle 1

Still plenty of Matiz in Hungary. Although this one was in Romania. Amongst other things. Almera with a boot. Chrysler 300C badged as a Lancia Thema. That's not right is it. Fiat Albea? Mazda 626! And what appears to be a mk4 Golf van. It looks factory. If it was home made it looks well done. One for @wuvvum And finally. catsinthewelder, Gompo, uk_senator and 2 others 5
