Wow! Ok! He actually bibbed me as I turned off (I was in my Mk1 Uno), & there was a purple TVR behind him as well.

Belgium, Finland, Hungary, Sweden, Latvia, Malta (RHD) and Cyprus (RHD) all use "XXX nnn" format plates, so could be any one of those. Possibly also Greece.

No record of it on DVLA, so may* not be from here...

Champagne socialist misery in Hampstead. And an Indian-built death trap.

Missed out on snapping a mint MK3 Escort Ghia ( I believe it went to FOTU) Citroen BX GTi and an NSU Ro80. Fail.

Anyway, I went on a bike ride earlier and came across this:

Just remembered I snapped these when my wife and I were in Devon a few weeks ago. I'd spotted the BX when we stayed in the area a couple of years before and didn't take a pic, so was determined to capture it this time.

Forgot about this too. Probably my favourite spot from the last few months. It honestly looked mint.

The dealer plate looks like it says Illawarra Toyota, which is my neck of the woods!

If it was a 3-door I'd be asking you to steal the seats.

Im currently in Germany visiting parents. They decided to take a "shortcut" which enabled me to take some photos of some of the more interesting stuff you can still find in traffic every single day from the backseat. Especially early to mid 90s Mazdas which sold here very well are still a relatively common sight. Golf Mk2/3, Mk2 Polos and Audi 80s are still everywhere as well, not even taking photos of them anymore. At this point I think Dodge Rams are more popular than a large chunk of the car that were actually sold here officially, you see multiple of them every single day.

Convertible could be an XR3 if the number plate is to be believed, that Caprice and 626 Coupe with questionable mods are the more interesting spots.

Well yesterday led me down a bit of a rabbit hole:

P1090657.thumb.JPG.6b6eea79cbd081f23b8332b25c940a8b.JPG

I went into this modern-ish housing estate to turn around and saw this: a 205 XRAD van...

P1090662.thumb.JPG.5594d440ab492ca141efc321ba1dee88.JPG

...then I spotted another interesting, and much sadder looking, van - this time a Vauxhall Combo. And in trying to take a photo of this one I found something that Autoshite was made for...

P1090660.thumb.JPG.59f12b6f111a83ad736795702649cd63.JPG

Apparently this was last on the road in 1993 - and boy does it look it. Absolutely love that this still survives.

P1090666.thumb.JPG.17c767ccbd489e23f72030efcc695231.JPG

These thankfully also still survive. I approve of the Coventry registered 405, complete with 'Peugeot' branded plates - maybe it was registered straight from the factory?

P1090667.thumb.JPG.31f40ce346a627eeabf6c34efccb8dee.JPG

Then a Dollar-might...

P1090668.thumb.JPG.5b821ee931f0c3b0ef2d7081c8d5d12e.JPG

...and a rather late Austin 2200 Automatic. Whilst they were pretty advanced for their day, I can imagine these feeling rather dated compared to that Maxi.

P1090670.thumb.JPG.04b8c3a1037f80e8d69757e8c7128a14.JPG

A Toyota... thing.

P1090672.thumb.JPG.8d47de9bd3709061659ae6d8928cc9d4.JPG

A... yeah, I've got absolutely no clue. Sierra?

P1090671.thumb.JPG.495e61eac7a2b347f3472c3be0fb5d67.JPG

A first generation Capri in a hedge

P1090675.thumb.JPG.82ff351b28de2b7c2b675c2a75693e8a.JPG

And finally a driveway of three Granadas (plus a KA that's blocking them). The green one is a pickup would you believe - didn't actually know they did those!
