somewhatfoolish Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Watching the US disintegrate on the news, in some eye-in-the-sky footage of a march(washington or perhaps NYC) there was a Volvo 245 being used to dole out water to the masses. Irritatingly I can't find the footage online to do a screen cap.
quicksilver Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Had a bit of an OLLI-day yesterday. The SI is a Belgian Minerva I've seen at several local shows but can any Landie expert tell me if the other one is a SII or SIIA? 1961 was the changeover year but I don't know how to tell the difference - all I've found is a mention of 'some cosmetic differences' with nothing to explain what they are. XVV 916 - 1952 Minerva Land Rover 80" by Adam Floyd, on Flickr AFE 962A - 1961 Land Rover Series II 88" by Adam Floyd, on Flickr Plus some other assorted detritus from the same evening's ride. I think I've captured almost everything of interest in town now P278 LRP - 1997 Honda Civic 1.5 LS by Adam Floyd, on Flickr XSC 453K - 1971 Volkswagen Transporter by Adam Floyd, on Flickr R389 HBV - 1997 Saab 900 S Talladega by Adam Floyd, on Flickr LightBulbFun, Datsuncog and worldofceri 3

Only differences as far as I know are the cab air vent control operating mechanisms and the Speedometer and Fuel/Amp Meter Instrument. If you can get a photo of them I should be able identify ( with a caveat ) which model.
