Amishtat Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 I can't compete with a Renault 16 but have this beauty, spotted about an hour ago in uncharted territory (for me anyway). danthecapriman, spartacus, adw1977 and 3 others 6

(Even if it’s waiting a decade) I love cars that are in entirely inappropriate colours, they always look 100x better than the standard brochure colours. I’d have loved too to have seen those 3 parked together, there’s not enough colour in cars anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I wish I'd taken more photos back then. I'd also love to get the Activa resprayed. The clearcoat peel at the moment really is downright embarrassing at shows just now. Sadly I know to get the sort of finish I'd really be after that I'd be lucky to get much change out of three grand...which is hard to justify given current priorities (fixing the roof for one...), but especially given it's on a car that's probably worth a grand on a really really good day. ...Which still feels almost criminal given what good cars Xantias are. Edit: Remembered what I had flanked that chromatically diverse trio with. Was a bright yellow Vitara Convertible on the right by the office and a metallic purple Suzuki X-90 by the wash bay. Bright red Cherokee by the gate too to catch the eye and draw folks in. jumpingjehovahs and LightBulbFun 2
They_all_do_that_sir Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Spotted at the weekend, cleaner than a clean thingSent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk worldofceri, sutty2006, adw1977 and 3 others 6
jonny69 Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 The end of Egham where I live is a bit of a shitty area. My road alone could fill an entire shite thread by itself. However, quite often see a few motors that are worth as much as the houses. Example. egg 1

Might have something to do with Maranello Concessionaires being nearby?
Joey spud Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Spotted outside Tool station in Strood. It looked the dogs danglers a proper tradesman's van. davocano, MrBiscuits, Yoss and 9 others 12
Fumbler Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 New from Bulgaria, my brother has snapped some chod. More to come when he does mine visits. Dollywobbler might recognise this Bulgarian Trabant. Still in the same parking space in the same street. Oh, and a Lada 4X4. LightBulbFun, worldofceri, Datsuncog and 1 other 4

jonny69 Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 This appeared in the dark as I was riding home. Little bit bubbly in places but looked like a not bad resto and the interior was fab. No-one was asleep in it, which was a little bit disappointing. I’ll keep an eye out for it for a daytime shot. Datsuncog, Amishtat, danthecapriman and 2 others 5

Amishtat Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Basey goodness at the boot sale, needs gingercators though. Normally I wouldn't waste pixels on a Beetle but it was in lovely condition. worldofceri, Datsuncog and Joey spud 3
puddlethumper Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Tescos. Dunno if you can make out the back bumper but it was a straight lump of metal welded on. Proper shite.
sutty2006 Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Found a BX diesel in the garage next to the body shop the carlton is in. It’s force hail at 750. Says it starts and drives fairly well, but does need a few fettling jobs doing. Had a quick scan, leccy windows and about 107k. Then I left before I did something I’d regret. If anyone’s interested I can pass details on. Datsuncog, RobT, Zelandeth and 5 others 8
Joey spud Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 This handsome A40 was getting loads of attention at Sunday's Wrotham steam fair. In my opinion it was perfect and would be exactly how i would want my 60's car to look and big respect to its owner for keeping it original. Skizzer, mitsisigma01, Datsuncog and 3 others 6
Uncle Jimmy Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Saw this lil Mitsi beauty in a nearby MOT garage car park and had to stop for a pic, the paintwork was A1 ? Amishtat, Datsuncog, Skizzer and 4 others 7
Uncle Jimmy Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Since the rolling 40 year tax exemption has returned I've noticed more late 70s cars both at shows and on the road.
