This is a local 205 in a mystery spec that I see fairly regularly - man from the ministry says it's got an XUD7. The rest of the car is red but you can't see from this angle. Reminds me of Will Cleland's window problem!

Charleston in Ikea car park, few stickers on the back and two(!) child seats in the back. I see some bloody weird cars at that Ikea- - few months ago I saw someone there in a '70s Beetle.

What are these people going to Ikea for that fits in such a car?!

Came out of the GF's relatives in Cambrai to find this belgian also visiting........ top quality (well, as good as they ever were). It got the GF's approval even if she looks like she was taking the piss!

Felicias still abound in Norfolk (though the first one was in Shoreditch).

The blue one with the L plates was a super rare top of the range SLXi which is probably of interest to nobody at all but it made my day. This is is probably the first meeting of two SLXi's in many years.

TATRA! Also a P4 and something American, which someone will tell me. A great selection of cars of the world.

But it's the first Tatra I've come across since two turned up at the pub by Dungeness nuclear power station. DVLA says the MOT ran out four years ago. And they also think it is black. Seriously want.

On an industrial estate by the tip, are those Cosmic alloys?

I also noticed today that a local landmark I have been meaning to photograph has finally gone. It was a TVR that had been sat on a drive going green for the last few years, it failed the Mot in 2009, strangely the pub opposite has now acquired an Audi Convertible, once yellow but now mostly green with tree sap I must get a picture before that goes.

This is local and hasn't moved since the summer. Worth an enquiry? Don't want to watch it rot away in the yard like many of it's predecessors.

A-reg Marina van? That's some late reg madness going on right there as the Ital was near the end of its life then. The blue Sierra was the pride and joy of sadly deceased shiter oldford. Good to see it still looking so well cared for.

I'm going to put a placeholder here for when I finally manage to snap one (or both) of the Proton Impian taxis operating in Belfast... came out of the train station this morning, the metallic beige one was stopped at the lights outside. By the time I fumbled my gloves off and persuaded the phone's camera to open, it was away again... they've been giving me the runaround for nearly two years now. Best I ever managed was an out of focus snap of the blue one's back quarter panel last summer.

If they want to put a third one back on the road, there's another that's been lying around near me. They'll have to trailer it back over the water, though.
