Ghosty Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Oh god the Aerodeck! Why did you have to remind me they exist?!
Uncle Jimmy Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Bradford upon Avon, new years day. catsinthewelder, Laseraligningfoofooflanges, Disco Fever and 2 others 5
RobT Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 A trio of Brixton spots. Mintola goddess. Lovely proper Mini. GR9 Cortina 2.3 GL. Mismatched panels and interior had the hallmarks of giffer ownership (cushions, random tat on the back seat etc). Coprolalia, Dick Cheeseburger, clayts450 and 16 others 19
danthecapriman Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Huge want for the Cortina. Looks like it's straight from a 90's council estate! Laseraligningfoofooflanges, RobT and MiniMort 3
Tadhg Tiogar Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 A trio of Brixton spots. Mintola goddess. DS.jpg RHD too, so probably worth about 20 grand.
spartacus Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 20171223_110413.jpgSaw this the other day can't remember where I posted it ......Just found it , posted 5 days ago on this page ! Doh !That looks like the Lego pizza van!
spartacus Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Some winner at life has been driving this for the last 23 years: 1986 Honda Aerodeck.JPGThese are lovely cars, I had one years ago, even took it to Bruntingthorpe, it was ace.
Tadhg Tiogar Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Some winner at life has been driving this for the last 23 years: 1986 Honda Aerodeck.JPGThere is a story I came across years ago that the Aerodeck design was originally going to be the next Reliant Scimitar, but was rejected by Reliant. If true, history might have been very different, and the Aerodeck might well have been a fibreglass shell......
Yoss Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Somebody here owns two Toyota Picnics. Laseraligningfoofooflanges, phil_lihp, rantingYoof and 3 others 6
phil_lihp Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 So, you like Cortinas, do you? Have a load of this Carousel. I've seen a young guy driving it around recently who is presumably the owner, it looks mint (hah! cos of the colour...) but up close does have a few holes. I'll stop now. Talking of holes... Terrible photo but this is a W-plate smiley Transit, it's been sat on this driveway for a very long time now, until recently I hadn't been past it for years and couldn't help but grab a quick photo seeing as someone's poked it with their foot and highlighted that the last foot of bodywork seems to be mostly crumbs. Why you would want the front of your property dominated by something like this, I have no idea but each to their own. danthecapriman, MiniMort, catsinthewelder and 1 other 4
Tadhg Tiogar Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Here's another view of that Silver Shadow. Hasn't moved in years. Wonder if it will ever make it back onto the road? Just along the way is this mid-1980s Winnebago which rocked up before Christmas and hasn't turned a wheel since: M-m-m-my Sharo? Nah. danthecapriman, Uncle Jimmy and Laseraligningfoofooflanges 3
Coprolalia Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 The area I'm looking to move to has some impeccable crud. This had a handwritten sign in the window- "Not abandoned, owner having chemo" And this was living van converted. Interior was fully giffer There's also a street with three smiley transits I need to pap. danthecapriman, Laseraligningfoofooflanges, Asimo and 2 others 5
cros Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 I was idly looking to see if Google have been down my road recently. Understandably they hadn't, as this was outside my shed about 10 years ago. Not mine, anyone seen it about more recently? mercrocker 1
busmansholiday Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 Saw this whilst at the Black Prince running day in Morley today. Laseraligningfoofooflanges and danthecapriman 2

lesapandre Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Penge High Street today. These Triumph Acclaims are small
Ghosty Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Same owner since 2014 and low miles, looked to be someone fairly young driving it. Tidy save for the missing C pillar and wheel trims. MiniMort 1
MiniMort Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 The area I'm looking to move to has some impeccable crud. 2017-12-28 15.51.17.jpg We had an AX Highlight like that (K283DHP). Would you believe that it managed to do 193,000 before being scrapped in 2012? It was knackered when we sold it in 2006!
MiniMort Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Nothing really much to shout about but original Minis never fail to brighten up the scenery. davocano, Laseraligningfoofooflanges and danthecapriman 3

phil_lihp Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 This Mazda van has been knocking around my local area for years, getting increasingly less roadworthy. The driver looks elderly and not entirely on top of things and the rear window recently became an ill-fitting tarpaulin, I finally got to snap it tonight, albeit in a dark, damp Sainsburys carpark. Note the excellent parking skills, top-quality bodywork repairs using most of an entire roll of gaffer tape and the roof, which is barely attached. How this gets through MOTs, I have no idea. Its days must be numbered, I doubt it's maintained very well mechanically given the state of the bodywork and the state of the interior doesn't really bear thinking about, Seeing it always brightens my day a little though, so long may it soldier on. Edit: perhaps unsurprisingly, its last MOT ran out in October, as did the tax. Oopsie. davocano, 500tops, Coprolalia and 16 others 19
