Love the early 820 Vitesse. Birmingham registered originally.

It's in a small block of about six lock ups but I've no idea how you would get hold of the owner unless someone has access to DVLA. And if it's been there since 1981 do you really think the owner is still around? What happens then?

Well someone's presumably paying the rent. It might not have been there since '81, just not taxed since.

I guess so but I'm not sure they're council garages so how do you find out who owns them. Also there are things in the yard where I keep my bus that have definitely been abandoned but as the yard owners are fairly laid back and have plenty of space they are happy to let the stuff return to nature. So it does happen.

As far as I know the council should be able to tell you who owns the garage.

I know they can do there here as there's a car in a garage I want just can't afford.

Fairly high spec Micra. It belongs to a lad around here and is his first car. He's had it for about 4 years already.

The unusual thing about this one is the fact that the owner has just had a new fully reconditioned engine put in at a cost of

€2000.The car has done 215 thousand miles.so not everyone believes in the throwaway society.

Good to see AXA still underwriting older stuff, even if they are pricey.

This pulled out in front of me on the A50 the other day - it is highly likely that my eyes sprang out on stalks in a cartoon style. Sadly, I was in the van alone so it can't be confirmed.

The freakin' Batmobile - wearing the plate BAT 1 ^^^^

This one deserves its own post. One thing that strikes me is how small it looks now compared to the cars around it. Would have been a big car once.

Great patina on bonnet. And dice.

Papped this in my local Tesco car park earlier.  Never seen or even heard of one of these before.

Weekend shite

Which show was that with the old bikes lined up... Padstow?

And as for that Imp in the vandalised garage above, has anyone got onto the council yet? If not, I give it a couple of weeks tops before it's either wrecked, or stolen ????

A few from the last couple of weeks. You'll have to forgive the epic* photo skills of Mrs Spart on some of these pictures I'm afraid.

The Landcruiser is owned by a local acquaintance who lives a long way up a track through a wood, so it's not an OLLI affectation. It's a non turbo straight six and seems to me about as good a compromise as your going to get if you need to drive on a motorway one day then across a field the next. I'm not usually a 4x4 fan but I could be tempted with this.
