Just been over the Pile of Shite for a few days.   Unfortunately many chod pieces have escaped my camera which was usually in my van when I wasn't.   One such being the JRG Ambassador by a Ryde kerbside.

Did get this however, in Cowes....

And this pulled up next to me at Ventnor driven by a pretty Dutch lady in a proper frock (no pic, sorry...)

Finally, this morning this hero came alongside on the ferry back.    Must be known on here!

Absolute perfect spec for me. Early edition with gingercators, mingebag 2.2 derv, mint condition and taxi white.

If he'd stopped for diesel I'd have made him an offer.post-19618-0-76242700-1498590644_thumb.jpg

Saw these two at a little village show last Sunday. The white one has a 2.6 V8 with belt driven cams.......lovely little engine. Both cars were in top condition. The red one is owned by a friend of my sister's.......I only found out when chatting to the owner. Small world.

Nice Mini Clubman imported from the UK

It still has the original W reg etched into

the windows.The front wing/scuttle joint

seams look slightly fillerish but other than

that it's immaculate and sounds spot on.

Moggy on Minilites with a much younger cousin. The thing under the tarpaulin also has Minilites and black numberplates. I'm thinking it's a Minor Van but I'm happy to be corrected.

Well I was half right. It's not a van it's a pick up with a canvas top stretched over a metal frame and tied to the sides. Like an old fashioned Truckman top. If I was going to have a minor I think this would be it.

But if I was going to have a pick up it would probably be one of these.

Tidy, poverty-spec Escort in Sainsburys' car park.

MOT history suggests it does about 500 miles a year and is a bit rusty underneath, no surprise there.

This is brilliant. Square wooden wheels, that has to be an improvement.

In the same road someone has broken in to this garage and decided this Imp is too shite to steal.
