This was parked at the back of a tyre place in Bletchley , haven't seen a 929 for maybe 20 years, could you ever get saloons in this shape ? I remember them all being estates.

Nice find. There was a saloon, but the estate stayed in production a lot longer.

A strange one, really, in most respects an L with a few extras (like tinted glass) but with the grey bumpers at a time when even a Popular had body colour.

Also no rear parcel shelf, even though L and Popular Plus had one.

At £5,913 it was slightly dearer than an L, too.

It looks like this example still has its "Tricoat White" wheel trims!

No parcel shelf? It's in the pic isn't it? That spec is just Ghia but with different fabric, paint and the older bumpers but you could have a 950 fitted?

Does say my car cost £5341.75, I'm sure with scene tax it'll be back to that price soon! I have them wheel trims too but in silver.

Took my AMC to the informal get-together locally - then we went on to local Steam Railway old stuff day -

It is in the pic, but the specifications page in the brochure says it didn't have one. Could be a misprint.

That JeNSeN truck is delightful. How much do I want to go fetch a Daimler Conquest with that!

Mk1 Goona taken from the bedroom window. Not seen this round these parts before. Sorry it's a little fuzzy, limited zoom on the phone.

Looks like it from the wheels, I think Dr Who had one when he was Jon Pertwee.post-17414-0-41577800-1492423650_thumb.jpeg

Or at least something pretty similar.

Hopeless Spotting = driving/no camera. :(

Passed a Fiat rear engine van/ette thing on the way from Keswick to Penrith this afternoon.

A. reg, Powder blue, windows, rhd, sort of black square box structure (overall bigger than roof perimeter by about 3") mebbies a pop-up.

Steady 55 & jammed solid rear window with stripey $hite... Poss cushions or sunlounger chairs.

Rockkinn on
