Let Mr Bunglebus have the Silhouette base as they ought to go together

After all he’ll build something better out of the spares

Cheers - I have got a 3-wheeled Silhouette somewhere so that may come in handy!

Could I be greedy and add the brown corgi beach buggy with the yellow interior too please?

One of my recent purchases, a 1/43 scale Fiat Panda. I stopped collecting diecast stuff a while ago but this was a bargain at $5 AUD (around 2.50 quid).

IMG_3704.thumb.JPG.a720a08e2d56e9adcb1a6d9407dfeec5.JPG

Condition is pretty good with a little bit of bubbling on the door bottoms (how realistic), and comes with the unused sticker sheet.

I'll look out for some more stuff from this series when I can:

That panda is ace. What was with the sticker sheets at that time? I could never work out why some of the stickers were applied and some weren't. Was it some bean counter way upstairs who had calculated a tiny saving in labour at the factory? Bburago and Polistil did it too.

I may have made your job a tiny percentile harder though as I have the Volvo 343 which bought from ebay in 2006. Delivery was from Australia but I had to have it!

That's from Mattel's take over of Mebetoys, originally just rebranded but then moved into new castings. This is an early Hot Wheels one

I guess it was a way for the kids to personalise the cars, so that they could choose which stickers to put on, or have none at all and keep it stock.

Do you have any photos of that 343?

Was it not only me that wanted them unstickered? Built a Bburago 190E kit years ago, came with all the stickers but needless to say I wanted it proper road going poverty spec.

The debatable 'amber' window rolls.

It never realised a premium as it can never be confirmed that the window plastic is either sun faded or actually amber. I got one years ago to see for myself and the glazing is in fact amber under the roof but the colour doesn't appear consistent through the moulding. It's a weird one and mainly only affects these gold coloured issues. The listing above is 4 quid posted and an hour left.

Headlights and grille would originally be chrome, but will probably leave it as is.

Crikey! Down I go to Tesco tomorrow. Wish the W123 wagon came in the 5 pack, may see how much the 8 packs are and finally get one with the Merc in. Seems the only way I'll get one!

There's one in the centre of the job lot I bought recently, as well as a darker gold one on the left

And another Kennel Truck - I keep buying donors but they're all too nice. This has the steering chassis, another reason it can't be a grille donor

Regular wheels Lincoln Continental is missing a windscreen - I have found a product that can make "glass" without disassembling but it's not pennies

Can't say I've noticed a darker shade before, I've still got a few of these, mainly purple I think. Going back a few years I done a massive variation project on the srn hovercraft and then the atlas dump and skip trucks. Variation hunting becomes obsessive. I was surprised to find that some models have several consistent variations where as others literally have none!

I reckon that the amber window is a poor quality material in a particular batch.

Yeah there's a couple of my pictures on Christians site.

A couple of finds this morning.I used to hate the Corgi fantasy vehicles, but they're growing on me.

The F1 Stock Car was bought just because it's got Thunderbirds graphics on it & I liked it ?

The Escort came from Tesco, they also had loads of Matchbox, but all old stuff.Shame,as they're 3 for 2 at the moment.

I bought a second Oxford Zephyr as a wheel donor for the Husky so I had some fun and made this, straight from the pages of Custom Car magazine in the 1980s.

As a bonus, it came in a two-pack with this Focus. Pity Carabanana decided to model the rally version rather than a normal one.

And finally, some of the Tomytec Car Collection in 1/80 (Japanese HO) that come in sealed boxes and are intended to be collected like trading cards. Lovely models but rare in the UK. I'd never heard of a Toyopet Masterline or a Prince Clipper.

Quite likely. If it's any consolation I forgot to bid first time round and it ended with no bids. Someone else bid on the relisting so I had to pay a bit more :(
