Here's one @Tenmil Socket spotted on Vinted

Bit of a big bore exhaust for an FX4?

Peering through the base, there's stuff going on. Looks like this was remote control by wire, with steering too. Absolutely no idea who made it

I’m glad you bought it. You need to get a donor Tamiya car or similar and transfer the workings over. Imagine a yellow cab flying around the local car park 😁

Got these for £1 each at Harrogate Rugby Club classic car show.

Very clean Mercedes and a Gladiator with it's roof still intact!

I presume you have the 2 variations of the silver Sierra with slightly different tampos down each side.

I gave these two Matchbox castings i found on Sunday a makeover.

Bling Majorette wheels on the Jeep Hot Rod,and a mixture of Hot Wheels rims on the Wildcat Dragster.

Had a disaster with the Mustang,as I had it painted yesterday and had the correct decals applied, but instead of grabbing my can of clear I picked up a identical can of silver.

Needless to say you can't clean silver paint from a freshly applied decal, much nashing of my remaining teeth ensued. 🙄

Found this tatty Matchbox FX4 Taxi in a box at home, can't remember when and where I bought it.

Never paid them much attention, but they really are a nice casting.

Metal body and base, plus opening doors.

Great detail too.

I've got loads of those in my project box as I've always thought them deserving of a makeover. Not quite sure what I'd actually do to one though

Only bought this one as it was complete.

@morrisoxide I have no idea about the Matchbox. but I've not seen a Corgi no282 Mini Cooper for less than £5 even in poor condition so you did very well as that one looks pretty good!

A bit of a story behind this. I ordered this car towards the end of last month. Unfortunately, the seller sent me the wrong car. They sent me this Peugeot 504:

20260604_044944.jpg.e647d15b9a8be69766691acd68b38d45.jpg

20260604_044949.jpg.7c65e5c1d9e9d7b82ea0cdbcc87380de.jpg

I wasn't overly disappointed, its a nice model and will be displayed, but I wanted the Jag I had ordered. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing and they sent the Jag, but to a pick-up point rather than my address. So last night, I decided, due to more roadworks around here, I'd take a detour to that shop and grab the Jag on my way to work.

The Jag a very nice model, but the body is plastic which I wasn't expecting, in its favour, it has held up well against time and the details are just lovely, details of which make it look almost like a real MK10 compared to my other metal models.

1/43 Partworks Sierra. Got this very cheap. Couldn't say no.

The red one is a new addition. Apparently from the film 'Buster' starring Phil Collins. The actual car only appeared in a couple of scenes. The model is by Corgi.

The darker Mk2 Jag is one of those no-name Chinese things. However, what I like about the darker one is the fact that it doesn't feel delicate as you would expect the Corgi one to feel. It feels substantial and there are more details added than the Corgi one. I had to silver to window trims, pillars, bonnet above the main lights etc... this is how the Corgi was originally:

They'll be hearing from my solicitor.

It culminates in John Cena pasting John Noakes for pocketing all those diecast in the Blue Peter scam.

A bit of a story behind this. I ordered this car towards the end of last month. Unfortunately, the seller sent me the wrong car. They sent me this Peugeot 504:

Yeah, so someone on here bought one but wasn't selling and I wasn't waiting either, so I bashed in a cheap bid on three and ended up winning two of them :?

Odd, because B.I.N prices on eBay for these S-Types are very keen.

I especially like this added touch:

...As I have that sticker on both my Jags.

The interior is even nice but I had to add some silver colour to the steering spokes.

Corgi could have made a bit more of an effort imo.

Right, I'm off to sleep. Laters.

Love all the Jags especially the plastic Norev Mk X, I have quite a lot of plastic Norevs now, but only ever seen that on the internet and they're always dear!

I'm afraid it was me that wouldn't sell the Cararama S Type

I'm glad you have some now...

Does the Corgi Elan count as well or not?

I'm sure there must be others, but I can't think of any just now....
