sierraman
Supposedly Matchbox lent the tooling to Mikro ‘67 during the early 80’s, presumably round the time they were clearing out the Hackney Wick factory. But then it never got returned so they’ve been produced on/off for many years. I suppose it made sense at the time as in 1982 they were raiding the coffers for whatever they could get to keep the business afloat. andrew e

Split_Pin
I've got the Vectra, I bought it because it was unusual un being a saloon and in one of those metallic colours that seemed to be very popular on cars in the early 00s. I also have the Insignia. It's a really nice model, I recall mine was quite expensive at around £40.
MiniMinorMk3
They are typical of curb-side 1/43rd models that are produced these days. Good detailing both inside and out. I would have got mine at auction as part of a lot. Split_Pin

danthecapriman
And finally, my Chinese made Corgi Sierra arrived. It’s bloody nice too! Lovely colour, very dark ink blue metallic. You can see the standard Corgi wheels on this one though. Shame they didn’t continue with the original Sierra wheels. AndyW201
Nipped into Poundland earlier, loads of last-case Hot Wheels and MB Moving parts, but after rooting through them, found these three, Was glad to finally find this single coloured version. Some nice detailing on this one front and rear, though the solid glazing and no interior detail was a bit disappointing, Found the only one there! The wheels can be removed by undoing the wheel nuts. The originally came with a wheel brace to aid removal. A bit crude by todays standards, but they were state of the art at the time. All these are by Schuco, but three are dealership issues. Opel Vectra Dutch Police Dealer issue Opel Vectra Dealer issue Vauxhall Insignia Saloon Dealer issue Insignia Estate I do like a good Vauxhall /Opel model, since I got the Corsa four years ago (the Mrs has it now), I've tried to build up a collection. Made a change from buying Vanguards Fords as well... During lockdown, there was a bit of a glut of GM/Opel dealer packaged models on eBay, all at around a tenner and from decent manufacturers like Minichamps and Schuco. Even the Bulgarian Gama Corsa B remakes got another outing. I'd been after a GSi for years but people wanted fortunes for them. £8 in dealer packaging? More like it,... Got this Corsa D as it was at least a similar shape to my E. Great model by Norev, normally there's can be found on eBay with silly price tags but snapped this up brand new for £8. RHD and Vauxhall branded too. I've always loved the Astra Bertone coupé. Again for under a tenner, brand new. Less a dealer special, more a partwork job, but when Jumajo got these Kadett GT/Es in and were knocking them out for less than 9 euros, I didn't hesitate! The facelift Vectra OPC (VXR to us) by Minichamps is an absolute belter. Slight paintwork flaws on this one (not untypical with Minichamps), but still a lovely model. The Schuco Senator and Monza are absolute stunners. The detail on these are unreal, especially as these set me back, yep, less than a tenner each. Having done plenty of miles in Vectra Bs in a previous life as a taxi driver, I had to have a model of one. The Schuco version is a pretty good one for its age, pleasingly this one is also a RHD Vauxhall branded version. Having owned a couple of Astra G SXis (and being one of the minority who is a fan of them), I wanted a Schuco one for a while. However, these go for silly money, so it took me a while to get this one! Again, pleasingly a UK V-grille version. Not dealer models, but I love the Vanguards Mk3 Cavalier in turbo & GSi guise. One of my faves has to be this Minichamps Astra H, complete with presentation case, and a load of promotional material for Saab and Vauxhall for the CDTi/TiD engine. I do like the Schuco Insignia, I seem to have missed the boat with getting an affordable one of those. Back during lockdown, the guy on eBay I got a few of the GM dealer models from had the latest iScale Astra K and Insignia Grand Sport, also ridiculously cheap, but missed out on those as well. The iScale Astra J GTC is a nice model, one of those is on my radar for a future purchase, as are the Minichamps Meriva VXR and Tigra twin top, both of those can be had cheap on eBay. With Corgi seemingly intent on steering the Vanguards range towards the plughole, at least they can be my diecast targets for the new year. Split_Pin
That Astra H is excellent, love that. I have a fair few Vauxhalls as well, most have already been pictured but I do have a 1/18 Astra H Sporthatch and a rather crude 3 door Astra G in 1/24 scale. andrew e, AndyW201 and MiniMinorMk3
D.E
Today's score for a total of 5 euro. Some are junk, some are close to mint (Gama Astra GSI and Majorette Clio), and apparently the Majorette T-bird is quite rare in yellow without decals. 500tops, sierraman, FakeConcern and 9 others
