Can do - cheers!

Also, I've a couple of others set aside for you from last year, if you still fancy them?

If not, happy to offer them out more generally!

Go on then, I've been trying  to hold out but may I have the Rapier please? Spent the afternoon here disinterring my model railway stuff after suffering an uncharacteristic bout of enthusiasm. May clog up the miniature railwayshite thread later..

Gaah! Can't believe I missed the Vanguards! Wouldn't mind the Vitesse Migraine and poo-brown Solara though, (if a buy now pay slightly later arrangement could be had...)

Sho' thing - will set that one aside for you. Thought that might tickle you!

Still have a very nice Matchbox ice cream van in the box with your name on it, if you're still interested?

Things got a bit much last summer, and I kinda lost track of where everything was...

Oh yes, it can totally be arranged... as ever, I manage to pick the absolute worst times to be having a clear-out!

Can’t believe I’ve missed this sale start as ironically I was collecting a metallic grey Volvo C30 from Hackney!
Could I please have, if not taken, the Espace, Fintail Taxi and the Merc 600.

Maybe others when I’ve reperused.

Posted

**EDIT - BOTH SOLD!!**

Not sure who makes these - but these 'Opel Car Collection' 1/43 models of the Senator and Monza each come in an absurdly oversized box with a GM part code on them.

The wiper's fallen off the Senator, but I've cunningly blu-tac'd it to the back of the box cos I'm out of superglue.

You can experience the joy of reattaching it for a mere £6, or both of them for £10.

Cararama police are 1/72 scale (or thereabouts...)

Apologies, I thought I'd found you a Polonez last year, or else I would have messaged you first!

I'll pass on the Carbonaras then, I can't really work in that scale any more, but thanks.  You did find me a Polonez, three in fact in various guises, but one can never have too many!

2 hours ago, RoadworkUK said:

Hey DC, by all means pass the Polonez in Eddy's direction. His need is much greater than mine.

Thank YOU kind sir!

Not a bother - we'll sort something out, sure!

:)  You two are such lovely gents.  I hope to meet you both sometime.

Stag definitely!  Also Mustang and beige Pilot if you please.  I think we'd better start a "box" so I have time to build up some PayPal!  Someone buy some of my stuff please, quick!

These are made by Schuco. I've got the pair of them and they are some of the best 1/43 models I've ever seen. The regular Schuco packaged versions can regularly go for £40-£50 a throw.

Definitely* didn't forget about this one.

NI Hospitals Authority Daimler ambulance, in excellent nick.

Bought because I know the real-life ambulance this was modelled from, and then I wasn't sure what to do with it.

£10 on this one too.

I'm trying to be good and not put my hand up for any of the wonderful stuff DC is offering today. CSW has just saved me from 'having' to buy those lovely Opels, phew!

Did purchase a few things yesterday on a quick trip into town:

IMG_8457.thumb.JPG.f9d4684d2552e566b642ad97e769fd30.JPG

Majorette 300ZX was 50p from a charity shop. I have a red one already.

HW Prelude was from a pound shop (but was £1.50) and the rest were from Tesco. They'd had a couple of new cases of Matchbox in too, but there was nothing in there that was of overwhelming appeal.

I had a feeling the Prelude and R390 might have been duplicates, but happily not.

Got back into doing 1:24 stuff today:

IMG_8463.thumb.JPG.a80793cd7547999a03dd24e01ee4b93a.JPG

Polished the brush-painted Humbrol enamelI applied over 35 years ago, should be dry enough by now. It's far from perfect, but the roof came up well and it's only meant to be a refresh of what I did all those years ago, not a new, squeaky clean build. Also brush-painted the hood scoop and attached it to the bonnet.

Lots of foil brightwork to do now.....

Probably the Gama branded Corsa? I've got the 3 door GSi version in dealer packaging.

Aye maybe it was Gama now that I think about it. I definitely had a Schuco Vauxhall of a similar era, they did a Vectra too, or was that Gama?

**EDIT - SALE AGREED!!**

Right, we're beginning to approach the end of the boxed 1/43 stuff, I promise.

Mahoosive Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Ahrens-Fox Quad fire engine.

IMG_20220113_143828.thumb.jpg.9802960e353f498e73726f7366e86ae7.jpg

This is a substantial and hefty piece of kit; truly the king of the MoY range.

IMG_20220113_143800.thumb.jpg.018658d88991ae2af86ea494f003a114.jpg

I coveted this model for decades but, as seems to happen quite often with me, once I finally obtained it my interest just... dwindled.

So it's back on here for £10.
