I'll look forward to seeing a list, particularly of 1:43 stuff. "Desperately seeking" the old Maisto Marea Weekend in blue - I've seen a red one on eBay, and fire engine trim, but I had a blue one when I had the real car, and gave it to the kids to play with - now cannot find another!

If any AS folk want that yellow Manta I'll do it posted (slow/cheap post) for a tenner, I shoved it on eBay for £15 which is probably too much for the detail on it. Or will trade for a model I do need. I'll update the list. It's a bit of a mess at the moment.

If the Manta is not already spoken for, I would love it!

Luckily I had another Schucco model in my collection, a gold Merc A class 2 door that I paid bog all for, box on that is damaged, but only a small bit in one corner, that is hidden by the super dooper spondificatious cardboard outer packaging that this range has, sorted!

For now my Allegro collection is complete with this one in the finest colour BL ever made. It's supposed to be Harvest Gold but doesn't look the same as the Harvest Gold Marina they did.

I am guessing the postage might outweigh what I want for the model!

Somewhat gutted, my red Manta arrived from Germany with a cracked window and both seats on the loose - but perfect packing. Waiting to see what they do about it, as I can glue the seats in easily enough.

I really want one of these but it's a lot of coinage to me to spend on a model, are they really good quality??

I have been lucky enough to have a play in a real one of these. I did scrape the chin.

His sister had a MB116 6.9 Which was the commuter car from monaco.

I think she still uses it.

First of all, you can get them a lot cheaper: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E30-B6-ALPINA-OTTO-OTTOMOBILE-OTTOMODELS-NEUVE-NEW-NEUE-/171787952297

Or ask a certain Mr Lobster of this parish for a bespoke shiter rate.

Secondly, what do you mean with "quality"?

OTTOs are low volume resin models. Despite they are well made, they do not have any opening features and no engine or chassis detail.

This will give you an idea what the model consists of: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-18-BMW-Alpina-B6-3-5S-E30-1987-Blanko-Kit-NEU-ungebaut-/331551296366

Thing is, if you are after an e30 Alpina in 1/18, it's the only game in town.

In general they are worth the money - you do get odd quality issues with Ottos but nothing major and not that often but as Junkman says, for a 1:18 E30 Alpina they are the only choice.

That one is way too expensive at £95 though. RRP was £79.99 and the 'shiters special price was way below that. Trouble is they are sold out now and the UK importer doesn't have them either.

Got this from eBay. Not exactly Autoshite / Charidee Shop but unfeasibly righteous.

All the detail you could ask for, opening everything including engine cover.

Revell 1/18. Twenty and a bit quid plus PeePee, all boxed up and still with original chastity tapes. No, I can't justify the expenditure but it was too phenomenal a thing to refuse.

I am back home in September so it could just be sent up to Jockland if you still wanted to part with it?
