Hey @AndyW201, I went to my favourite model shop yesterday and picked up a boxed Vanguards Fiesta Supersport in black for a tenner yesterday (it seemd rude to leave it there at that price) and they had one of your Cavaliers boxed for a tenner, too. Sounds like it might be worth buying, to ship back to the UK for mini-tax.

Much of the distinctly British castings seem to sit on their shelves and steadily get reduced, which is how I managed to pick up the Astra SR for £4.50. In fact, they had another of those too and I'm sure it was on sale!

Wow! Mucho jealous! Definitely worth grabbing at that price, the Supersport is well sought-after. The Cavalier is also well worth grabbing at a tenner.

£5 on the larger stuff this week, except the Dinky AEC Mammoth transporter, which is £10 - annoyingly, one of the ramps has been snapped.

"Couple of quid" on the smaller stuff - so likely £2.

Some worth it, some probably not.

£20 on this lot:

M-2 Motorway Set, with extension pack.

Both look complete.

Transformer is genuine Lesney, despite the name.

£20 also on this:

Complete, but probably one for nostalgia freaks only.

More Corgi and Dinky oddments in a box:

I'll presume a fiver here too.

Corgi Zephyr Farmham is a repaint, as is the Mini (can you tell?).

Dinky Rambler is sound, non-Golden Jacks Corgi Toronado suffering some bumper woes. Green Hornet 'Black Beauty' missing the grille, but otherwise not bad.

Dinky Packards still around; the more yellow one seems to be a repaint, and was originally the same peach shade as the other.

Zylmex F1 car to the left, Tri-ang to the right.

Big Tri-ang skip truck also present.

This battery-operated plastic hot rod was also up for grabs

Hmmm. National stereotypes included gratis.

Durham Industries - not a Japanese maker I'm familiar with.

Probably a fiver on this too.

The Charity Stall was back this week, but the only diecast item was a Corgi Police Horsebox - the one that would have been paired with the 1/36 Land Rover S3.

Stall was heaving, so I couldn't get near it.

One other oddments stall did have these, though:

Pricey enough at £3-£7; not sure there's a big market for Renault 6 manuals in Belfast these days...

So yeah, I s'pose that's it for this week... no buses, and no return of the 50p box.

I'll be here for another half hour, so if there's anything you can see that you can't live without, let me know before then...

La France was taken, I'm afraid - by The Nemesis, as it happens.

Volvo is missing most of its tyres and headlights, and has also been the subject of a particularly cack-handed repaint without much care about glazing, so it's probably restoration only...

Zephyr is still here too, but is also down a few tyres and has paint all over the glazing.

If you still fancy them, they're yours!

I haven't got a Green Hornet.  Can get the grille I'm sure.  If the glazing is not cracked/broken and no pillar cracks, I might say yes.

Although if he would take £8 for the pair even better

Tyres are all still with the hot rod (though one had slipped backwards along the axle), but the roof-mounted battery cover appears to be missing.

Green Hornet car looked otherwise clean - no visible casting damage anyway, and the glazing had some toybox scuffs but no cracks. Driver figure and Green Hornet figure (firing from the open window at the back) also present.

I'll see if they're still available next week at target price - unfortunately I don't have the same luxury of time these days to hang around...

Probably worth doing a swapmeet though, you’ve not got to sell that many at £2 a throw to make it worth your time.

Dunno about the going rate - but he always tends to price his stock based on what he paid for them, rather than going and checking what they're worth. Which is why, sometimes, there are decent bargains to be had.

If he's looking £2 for them, then he probably paid £1 each - and some are indeed completely trashed, but I'd say some of the Regular Wheels are worth £2 any day of the week.

Some leading-edge wear to the paint, but all of these 'uns still looked pretty glossy and 'bright'.

I guess if he sells through the good ones at £2, the less-than-ideal examples will likely end up in the 50p box eventually.

All those 4  matchboxes going on 50 years old in lovely enjoyed condition for less  2 pints/packet of fags/fish supper. Remarkable value! I should have replaced my hookless crane, did you buy them @Datsuncog ?
