Right, this thing is doing my fucking nut in.

Kader slot car racing set from the early 60s.

As far as I can see it is complete with only the head of one racing driver missing.

2 cooper cars, controllers, transformers, may not conform to latest electrical regulations.

Instruction sheet also present.

I tried to start it about 25 years ago but without success so for arse-covering purposes we will say its "not working" but it probably will. Owned by my dad from new.

Located Falkirk, please someone take it away. I can take more pictures if someone really wants it.

What a lovely old toy! I have got way too many models and old toys already so can't take it but surely this has an actual value?

Posted

Someone please take it. This is the only place that I am 93% certain that some dole cheat won't try to sell it on, unlike the local Facebook pages. Etc. If I have time tomorrow night I will take some more pictures.

NOW GONE - thanks for looking!

Roll up, Roll up - Start your new year with some obsolete music on an obsolete format for playing in your obsolete motoring contrivance, and bring audio enjoyment to your obsolete life...

A big ole' box of tapes. Most of these are the much* coveted* Dink collection as offered by him and snaffled by me back in the crazy summer of 2014. Best Rock in the world
Catatonia International Velvet

+ approx 15 unlabelled mix tapes, some good, some bad!

All work, some got eaten by the tapedeck in the Nissan but most are alright. Some of the mixtapes have obviously been well used as they can be a bit weird in places but it adds to the charm.

Here are some pictures:

Loft bed - Like the top half of a bunk bed. In pine circa 1999, from MFI. No mattress.  The ladder has cat claw holes, and the wood is dented a bit from erm teenager.  Free.

Also Drum kit. Dragon I think.  Comes with cow bell and symbols and sticks.  Would need something useful in PX, other than real cash.

Ah man I'd love a drum kit. But everyone else wouldn't.

yes, swmbo won't let me have one.

I am thinking about re-homing my tropical fish and getting rid of the tank etc. It is currently in my workshop office where they have lived for the past 4 years. The tank stands on it's own base cabinet and is approx 14 inches wide by 35 inches by 19 inches deep. Comes with lights and filters and everything you need. The fish are all getting on a bit now but seem healthy enough. There is a plec who is about 7 inches long. 1 large angel fish. 1 Gourami a cory a couple of yellow tetras and a rummynosed tetra. The Angel and Gourami were both pairs but have lost their partners over the last couple of years. The tank looks scruffy and needs a good clean on the outside as it gets very dusty down the workshop. I am also not sure of the condition of the base as we have been flooded out a couple of times only an inch or so but it sits on carpet tiles so might of got damp in. The lid is a bit of a bodge as the lights failed and a replacement has been bolted on. I am just looking for a good home for the fish really. Collection only from Wellington Somerset but I will help catch them and might still have the transport boxes from when I moved them in. Pictures to follow if anyone is interetsed, includes a scrapyard ornament made from old renners and alfa's.

The Kraftwerk album is literally the best music for a late-night motorway journey, ideally about 45 minutes drive away.

Its like music for well oiled machinery.
