^^^^ Please tell me that upon finding that you immediately took it to the top of the nearest hill.

Want me to hold onto it for you? You could create a sort of dog chariot and be king of Accrington :-)

How fast could Joe Cleland get that on the A/S hillclimb next weekend?

I could achieve an easy three figures if we tied it (using hairy yellow string) to the back of Explosive_Cabbage's WVO pocket rocket.

Crap pressure washers

1 upright Challenge Extreme thing that won't stay upright as one of the wheels has dropped off

1 small generic green thing

The one hose I have fits both but leaks, I would probably still use it and put up with the leak but I have a really good one at work.

I kept the spare washer as I was fairly sure that these things usually died of pump failure, any use to anyone before I sling them out?

I'll be interested if still available please. Wife killed ours and I think I may make 1 good out of 3! Are you going sf?
Posted

I threw the green one out on Saturday and nearly took the rest as well,  I'll chuck it in the SF pile.

Posted

Lol Mr_inthewelder, how big is your SF pile? You are bringing a van aren't you?

Posted

I'm bringing the Cherry,  I was offered a van run up to Miseryside on Friday and considered just keeping the van all weekend but they are all too modern, even the Peugeot with at least two dents on every panel.

The Disco is working but is mixing it's fluids again so demoted to local use only.

Did this get recycled? If not it would do to sit an engine on ...

Yep ended up on the great scrapheap.

A pair of car ramps. Or even two pairs.

I've had them go through a sill for the last time driving up these wretched fucking things and want rid of them, or I'll punch them to death and then throw them in the Mersey.

They're handy for resting a car on, but I can use a breeze lock for that, so they can go fuck themselves.

Angry, Wirral.

Please don't use a breeze block .

Or it might be

Hey, Station. Can I get a pair of ramps pls?

Posted

Yes Lankytim, they are yours!

Always use axle stands, last night I only needed to replace the washer on the sump plug so had the stupid idea of getting these useless things out.

Two minutes later:

And the last time I used them:

That's unlucky.  I've never had a problem using them and I am MEKANICKZ R3TARD.

If you can bring them to Chodmongly (and haven't got rid prior) I will bag a pair please.

Posted

Your not ment to drive up them at 40mph though,

Are they home made as the top section looks like its sloped back and has too low a stop if you know what I mean

I have a heavy duty trolley that I used for building engines but is now getting in my way. You are welcome to it if you can get it from Tamworth, if you were to drop off a pair of those ramps at the same time that would be even better! It's home made but out of an old industrial trolley that was used for castings so would probably hold a car! It's about 70cm square but I could measure it more precisely if you are interested.

Anyone can have the ramps :)

I've been told many methods of not having them embedded into your car, but I've not had much luck with them.

If they're not gone, will bring them to cholmonodely.
