Most mental arsed collection mission ever?

The day hasn’t got off to the greatest of starts, being awoken by the spaniel for a pee at 05.30 and seeing that the supermarket delivery due this morning has one substitution…two bottles of cloudy lemonade instead of my evening life blood, pink grapefruit crush.

It’s going to be a long week.

Oh well. First world problems and that. Going to try and go back to sleep for a hour but I don’t fancy my chances.

It’s going as well as expected.

The dog is now snoring its head off and we are both wide awake.

Good luck!

Eventually, something approaching sleep was achieved for a hour or so before I gave up and put the coffee machine on.

Now showered and dressed, awaiting the arrival of the nice man in the green van to restock the larder before our voyage to distant lands gets underway.

Bet you can’t guess what we’re collecting.

Seriously.

I can’t.

As you were.

you have gone all @Mrs6C and bought a Locomotive? :)

Trains are indeed involved, however in a more conventional sense unfortunately.

Claire has booked a hotel for tonight (did I mention it’s a two day job?) and having just read the confirmation email, I’m somewhat concerned that a ‘benefit’ of this particular room is ‘free toilet paper’!!!

🤔😳😳😳

Three because one is broken and why the car was cheap?

Even across all of mine, I'd still be eight cylinders and around 2200cc short...

make sure to take full advantage and aim for jim bell levels of poo count !

Oh yes…there’s a ‘spoons between the station and the hotel so a generous portion of chicken shawarma topped chips should ensure maximum utilisation of the hotel chains generosity! 👍

Truck.

Wiper motor, washer motor, heater motor.

Good lateral thought process going on there!

I’ve got to admit though that three different V5s will be involved.

Is it a fucked Jag XJ-S with dubious registration history?

If it is then get it bought. Drive home could be interesting.

You are putting Kiltox's Ami inside an Electric van, which you drive, Claire is driving the leaf taxi, and the 4900cc is the amount of liquid you drank between you in Spoons.

Spot on, near enough! 😂

A 5.0 Toureg has been on my radar for a while now…AutoAlex have featured a couple recently although one of them was as rotten as a pear around the front legs so that may* depress future residuals somewhat…but no, this cylinder count is in actual fact split across more than one vehicle! 😳

Electric bike thing from Mr K  - one electric motor
Damp Lexus thing from Somerset - two(?) electric motors and 3500cc
Something unknown with four cylinders and about 1400cc

No clue what order you can do that in though - I'd hedge on Somerset first though?

Not the green Clio as it's a 1600cc?

But is the damp Japanese Mercedes actually 3500cc or is it slightly less? 🤔

There was one of those open things with an armchair attached on TV the other night…on one of the Discovery Quest channels, I believe.

It appeared to enjoy a reasonable turn of speed!

1x 6 cylinder, 3500cc. 1x 4 cylinder hybrid with 1 motor, 1400cc. 1x twin motor EV.

Maybe the 6-cyl is a recovery truck so the other two can go on the back or be towed? Unless Claire is driving one back.

Nah, that doesn't work, Lexus is 3.3 so that only leaves 1.6 litres for the other ICE-powered purchase.
