What an ad!

Don't even know if it's RHD. I'd hope it's Exclusive spec so it has proper suspension.

Potential bargain?

What is that 4% tax? Just an arbitrary number picked randomly from dice, or is there an actual rule about the disposal of government assets?

Nonetheless, what an excitingly novel way to buy a car.  I would (If it wasn't a Citroen)

General condition "average".....

One assumes a Gallic shrug as the bumpers fall off as you slam a door equates to "average".

Does it come with 12 months diplomatic immunity? So you can wave away speeding offences/kerb crawling/being apprehended in the act of buying party prescriptions by winding the window down, exhaling Gauloises all over the police officer then say 'ferk erf copper' in a strong Parisian accent?

A 2016 C5 Tourer.

2016.

That has to be one of the last, surely, with the facelift etc. lights? And it's a September 2016 reg so... is it Euro 6?

No warranty given or implied.

So, a step up from buying a new CItroën from a UK dealer in the 2010s anyway?

Isn't that a V6?

Know nothing about C5's could be totally wrong -  Just seen on google.

Sadly a C5 is a much less interesting beast (or more sensible depending on your worldview of French chod)

Posted

Less interesting looking. Technically a C5 II is like a C6 with funkier interior and fixed hub wheel, but less fragile, less annoying, better brakes...

So is Edinburgh "Edimbourg" in French then?  Never knew that.  Country names can change with languages but city names usually stay the same.   But I suppose you do get Wien/Vienna.

Sorry, autocorrect got me. I meant C6!

Yeah, Kyiv...Koln...Roma... loads of them now I think about it.  Still never heard of Edimbourg (with an M) before.  Might start using that from now on as an alternative to my current "Edina.  Scotia's Midden Seat".

Assume you have to be there in person to bid? Would love some more modern French tat to add to the collection.

No, you send a written offer.
